I did a lot of business in the area and used to stay at the Marriot right up the road. One time they were full so I tried the WinGate, and haven't looked back since. Breakfast is great, high speed wireless throughout the hotel, nice rooms, and great people. Love it!

I was travelling to this hotel with my husband while on business. I found the hotel very pleasant and clean. "Open all day" tea/coffee station with a good variety of herbal teas. There is a help yourself breakfast with waffles, danishes, bread on the breakfast servery. The lounge area where the breakfast is has a very large TV and fireplace which is very nice and relaxing. The hotel has good car-parking, gym and jacuzzi facilites together with vending machines and ice maker. Wingate provide a shuttle service to the nearby Tanasabourne shopping village. The MAX train is within walking distance and travels to Portland City. There is not alot to do in this location if you do not have a vehicle. Overall the service was good, apart from one employee who was very rude and more interested in surfing the net than attending to guests. Together with housekeeping out of the five days we stayed our room failed to be cleaned and towels replaced on two occasions which is not good enough.

The hotel itself is relatively new and in pretty good shape. Rooms are decent but the mattresses could be better quality.

Customer service is below average. I asked for new coffee maker early in the evening to replace a defective one. The employee at the desk told me they had an onsite maintenance person but didn’t want to disturb him. Would have the coffee maker replaced the next day. It wasn’t.

Housekeeping didn’t replenish the cups in the bathroom nor the coffee supplies. The shower curtain had about half the hooks missing. Ring around the bathtub. I’ll look elsewhere next time I’m in town.

Great facilities, but impossible to find at night without a cell phone to get guided in. Tiny street sign, not at a stop light. It would be nice if they put up a sign on the main road.
