We booked a room the same week we planned on going so the room was only about 54.00. We were skeptical because of the location and price but were actually surprised. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very clean,too. The beds were ok but good enough for a good night of sleep! The breakfast in the morning was pretty good but very crowded! My husband said people were everywhere and he felt like people were coming off the street because it was so crowded! Other than that, it was a good place to stay for the price. We would probably stay again.

I recently booked this hotel for my son who had a class in Portland to attend. The class was scheduled to end one day earlier. They refused to change the reservation and charged us for the whole 5 days instead of 4.I could understand charging us a fee if we cancelled the whole reservation but my son was going to stay there for the 4 nights and needed to cancel the one night. We let them know the night my son checked in and gave them advance knowledge. It is extremely poor business in my mind, to not work with your customers. When my son has to go down for further classes, we will not be using this Days Inn again.

We appreciate you taking time out to send in your reviews. I would like to apologize that your experience was anything less than satisfying. We really pay attention to our guest comments and critiques in an effort to improve our service.

It is always Days Inn standard to provide our guests with the room accommodations they have reserved. In light of this, there are different options to choose from when making a reservation. When a choice is made to make a reservation that provides a larger discount under the stipulation that the reservation is a "non-changeable/non-cancelable reservation," we are unable to cancel or change the reservation. Under these reservations you are forced to acknowledge the understanding of these terms and conditions 3 times before you are allowed to submit you final acceptance, so that there can be no misunderstanding. At the same time you are given other options for reservations that provide the flexibility that so many travelers need, some of which offer discounts also.

Because life comes at all of us and things happen such as classes ending early, it is probably better to choose one of the other available options so as not to be disappointed by the stipulations of the reservations made. These reservations are a few dollars more but, you have all the way until the day of arrival by 4pm to cancel with no cancellation fee.

It is never our desire to negate or discount your concerns so again we truly apologize that you were unhappy. We only ask that if at all possible, you will provide us with another opportunity to serve you, by giving us a call directly at 503-618-8400. Again thank you for this opportunity to improve our hotel and for your future stay.

Stayed here one night and all was great until I tried to take a shower and got cold water! I only paid $50 for the room, but the staff was nice and the room was clean. Might stay again as it's close to Portland and easy to find.

Unfortunately last month we had a major issue with our water heater and it needed to be and was replaced. Whenever we are informed of any complaint we make sure to not only address the issue immediately but also address any further issues as they arise. Our property rarely has issues of this nature and we ask that you give us another opportunity to give you a better experience.

It is never our desire to negate or discount your concerns so again we truly apologize. We only ask that if at all possible to be notified of any issues immediately so that we have the opportunity to rectify the situation.

AS this was our 2nd visit to the Days Inn we decided to leave the room for shopping at 9am, we returned at 2:15pm and room had not been made up or even looked at! I went to the Front Desk where the hotel Manager was, and I was told that they were sold out and they haven't got to our room, the woman was very rude and talked down to me. Customer Service is a must in this business and was tossed out the door. The next morning "no Hot Water" and messy breakfast room. This is a very poor hotel, we will not return!!

When a guest stays for a few days our housekeepers are instructed to clean those rooms later in the day, as not to disturb guests that may want to sleep in. If we are made aware that a guest would like their room cleaned between certain times we are more than happy to accommodate that request. It is never our intention to talk down to our guest or be rude. Sometimes in an effort to explain, misunderstandings can occur, if you were offended, we sincerely apologize.

This was one of the best places I have stayed for the price. The room was quiet, comfortable and very clean and the staff was very helpful. Extra bonus was the breakfast, making it an even better deal and was really helpful for me having to attend a class early in the morning, it was one less thing to have to hassle with. Would definitely return if I come back to the area--plus the location is good being not far from the freeway, it allows easy access to go to other spots in the area.

We stayed here after a day trip to the Mount Hood area. It was close to the highway, and close enough to both Portland and Mount Hood region. The continental breakfast was typical, but definitely on the better side. Waffles, bread, cereal, milk, fruits, juice, boiled eggs were all provided, and staff member was on hand to keep up with the demand. There is a McDonald right in the parking lot if you prefer that instead to the free breakfast. Beds were comfortable, and we had a shower stall, which resembled a space capsule. It was retro and funky.

When I rent a room I expect it to be clean, well stocked, and everything in the room to be well maintained. All of the above were true here. The plus is in the minor details. The concierge was exceptionally friendly and helpful. All of the staff were friendly and did what they could to make my stay pleasant.
