For a mere $89 we have a gorgeous, cozy log cabin type room with a hot tub on the beach, it is absolutely terrific!! We can't believe our good fortune. It's immaculate, has a balcony that blocks the breeze and we sat and watched the sunset. The concierge was a doll.
HIGHLY recommend the GBI, particularly in this off-season.

Room Tip: Highly recommend Ireland's Rustic Lodges if you want cozy (but spacious) log-cabin atmosphere!

As soon as we showed up the staff was super friendly! They were very welcoming and helpful and gave us advice of places to eat and even handed us a 15%off coupon for a local steak house. We were directed to our room and were immediately impressed with the size, decoration, cleanliness, and beauty of the room. We had a private balcony that over looked the ocean. We spent the evening at the hot tubs and watched the sun set over the ocean while in the ocean front hot tubs. It would have been nicer only if they had turned the tubs on earlier because it took about 30 minutes before they were hot rather than just warm, but the tubs and the space was beautiful. We got to enjoy the company of others throughout the evening. The bed was warm and comfortable, and the breakfast was a simple fair as you would expect for. A continental breakfast. I have already recommended a stay here to friends and family. Especially in the off season where the rooms are very reasonably priced!

First off it is right next door to the Chowder House which is excellent! The staff were very friendly. The 3 hot tubs outside on a big deck facing the ocean was wonderful and they provide all the towels! They have a nice garden area for sitting and a nice path right to the beach. The room was clean but could use new carpet but it did have 2 new Lazyboy chairs and a large TV. A nice breakfast was provided with many choices. We would stay there again.

I love this place...It is the best value for the rates and delivers just what you want in a beach vacation spot!! Highly recommended especially for family on the Gold Beach Inn side, couples on the Irelands side...Thanks for being that rare place that still goes over and above.

Room Tip: The top floor gives an awesome view and nice private balconies.

Everyone raves about Ireland's Rustic Lodge and its adjoining Gold Beach Inn and for a good reason. Super friendly service, clean room, and nice grounds.

I was on a budget on this trip so asked for the best rate. I had a queen bed in a small room not on the water, but for the price, it was great. I had a small view out a window down the drive to other rooms. Furniture is old but the bed was very comfortable.

I had access to the ocean view spas (several spa tubs enclosed with glass walls). And you can wander though the grounds that are wooded and find other views and walks to the beach. Be sure to check out the tower in the RV parking area.

On my return trip through Gold Beach a few days later, I stayed at the inn again and the manager graciously upgraded me to a larger room. Nice.

We watched the sunset from the balcony then walked to dinner. Afterwards, my husband was thrilled to be able to relax in a recliner and watch tv! The hotel is older, but very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Quiet, slower-pace beachfront hotel with clean, comfortable accommodations. Very well-kept family-owned business. Instantly felt like home to my wife and me (quite the contrast from the mega-corporate chain hotels). Gorgeous beach view from room and very accessible on short pathway. Good breakfast that is well-organized. Newer beachfront hot tubs are a bonus. Great value for either weekend getaway or overnight stay for wayward travelers. Great restaurants within walking distance. Will stay here again soon.

It appears one of the beachfront spas has a lift apparatus that can assist disabled guests. (Check with hotel staff.)

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floor are a great value for the view. Very quiet.
