“Decent breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

We've stopped in here a few times while 'home' on vacation. It's one of the few places open early for breakfast. The food is average breakfast fare, the service was good, but nothing outstanding. Not great, not bad.

“Breakfast spot”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

This is a somewhat hidden breakfast place. It was recommended by a local. There are a lot of campers patronizing the restaurant. Food was okay as was the service.

“Find the nice place by accident.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

This is next to a large RV park and most of the customers are locals, and given the place was nearly full, that is usually an indication of a good place to eat. It was. for lunch we had the fish and chips which ser very good and did not have a lot of breading like most places. the ladies servers were very friendly and attentive.
A couple of days later we wnt back for breakfast with other family and totally enjoyed a really good breakfast.
Try to get there early because they do run out of items, since everything is home made and this place is a popular local cafe. a nice find when you get lost off the main hwy.

“Decent food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

This place has a nice setting as it is outside of Gold Beach proper and it is surrounded by woods. I can only speak to the pancakes that I had which were apple sour cream or sourdough or something to that effect, and I love sourdough, but they were heavy and the flavor was not good and they were not the kind of thing that I could keep for later even though I like left over pancakes, so most of it stayed on my plate. My husband's omelet was OK. If you get something other than what I got, it might be a perfectly fine place to eat, but since Rollin' in the Dough is just across the bridge I would just go there. The best part of the experience was the adorable chubby kitty that sat in front of the fireplace.
