“Unexpectedly fantastic hospitality during my stay. The customer is not an intrusion but a welcome guest.”

Wonderful evening snack. Breakfast was really good. Rooms clean and the staff was very welcoming. I came in late on a holiday weekend and they squeezed me in without a reservation. I was in town to fish and they had no problem with me bringing my clean tackle to my room.

This is our favorite place to stay on the coast and rightfully so. The owners, Eugene and Carol, go out of their way to make guests comfortable. The rooms are very clean; the breakfasts terrific; weekend special snacks delicious; the lobby restful and inviting. This last stay was on Mother's Day weekend and Eugene called me to the desk to give me a greeting from our son and daughter-in-love and tickets to a special event that they emailed to him for us, since the originals had been delayed in the mail. They are never too busy to help their guests have an enjoyable time. We like this hotel so much that the same children set up a gift account for us there, which Eugene carefully manages. We keep going back and are never disappointed.

Excellent customer service from check-in to check-out! Booked last minute, expected little and were thrilled at what we received! Nicely appointed room, great comfortable beds and bedding, extremely clean! Loved the welcoming lobby and fireplace, late night popcorn and happy hour treats of sliders, macaroni salad, cheese, apple, crackers and sausage! Did not expect it, but after hours of traveling, it was all much appreciated. The morning breakfast spread was incredible too! There was veggie fritattas, biscuits and gravy, fresh tortillas, eggs, potatoes, waffles and more! All of this was included in the price! The owner and his wife were delightful and truly interested in making our stay special! Front desk clerks were exceptional, helpful and informative. We will return every time our travels come to this area!

Room Tip: Double queen room on third floor was spacious with a granite counters, great in-room coffee, very qu...

My husband and I stayed here with our two young daughters and just loved it. Very nice, clean, and good value. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast and snacks were good also. Probably one of the better places we have stayed.

Hotels on the Oregon Coast are usually a mixed bag... We found the Garibaldi House hotel by chance, with it being the only hotel with vacancy on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

Not really expecting much, we were pleasantly surprised to arrive to a clean hotel, friendly staff, complimentary hot appetizers (fresh hot pulled pork sliders!) and a nice selection of books above the fireplace in the lobby.

The guest room was clean and appointed with nice bathroom accoutrements and good quality towels.

The following morning, we had another pleasant surprise at breakfast - REAL food! From scrambled eggs and frittatas to freshly cooked sausage and fresh fruit to mango salsa and homemade guacamole to hot waffles and biscuits with good sausage gravy. WOW. The owners really have a good thing going here. We will be back!

How much we ended up loving this Hotel really took us by surprise. The rates indicated that it would be an adequate place to lodge for a company fishing trip to the beach, because even in high season they were reasonable. In addition to an inviting lobby with a fireplace, books and deep, soft leather couches, this Inn has the most incredible complimentary breakfast. So yummy!! Homemade biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, frittata, sausages, breakfast potatoes, and so much more.
Last night they put out cioppino that was the best we have ever tasted along with warm thick slices of buttered bread. A sweet sign next to this said "please enjoy while waiting for your dinner reservation" or something to that effect. There were also salami, assorted cheeses and crackers. Fresh popcorn and coffee available 24/7. The rooms were clean and well designed. This place is an incredible Jem. Met the hotel owner Jean, he said he had left the city to buy a hotel and he asked me "what makes people happy"? I said "Awesome food", he said that's why he runs his hotel the way he does, he wants to make people happy. Clearly, he is attaining his goal. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!!

Eugene, his wife, Carol, and the whole staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and that your visit is a comfortable one. From scheduling an early breakfast to meet an early fishing charter to helping you find a place to process your fish and cook your crab, Eugene and Carol do it all. A person could not ask for more. The place is clean and tidy and the coffee is on 24/7. I like the jacuzzi pool for a nice relaxing soak before bed. Because Garibaldi House is at the center of town, everything is within easy walking distance. Eugene and Carol are ready to schedule tours and/or tell you about all that the Garibaldi and Tillamook County areas have to offer. Garibaldi House is a splendid jewel of hospitality in an area of natural beauty full of activities for the visitor. I know I will make Garibaldi House my base of operations whenever I stay overnight in the area in the future.
