This hotel is so cute. It's out on the pier, in the real working town of Garibaldi. Excellent restaurants nearby, There is the air museum and it's a great starting point for the Three Capes Scenic Drive. I can't say enough good things about the hotel. The rooms are CHARMING. Ocean theme. Everything you need. Jeff is available with whatever you need, stories, crab pots, or recommendations (be sure to ask for the stories). We didn't take advantage of the fishing, but it is right there. We came last year and this week, I sent some friends down there. Jeff really took care of them. Perfect for a romantic getaway (my friends) or a family with kids. Lots to do.

Our stay started out with treats for our dog, hot coffee and cookies for us and a very clean comfortable room too! The bed was very comfortable and the room was great. Not fancy, but nicely decorated and very, very clean.....did I mention it was clean? We were greeted by name the next time we stopped in to ask for eating recommendations. After a short chat we left. At checkout we were concerned about the roads being snowy and closed going over the coast range. Jeff said, wait let me call State police and see what the road conditions are. He did and we were able to get home. Thanks Jeff and staff you made our stay in Garibaldi terrific!!!

What a wonderful weekend my husband and I had at Harborview In & RV Park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nicely decorated, clean & comfortable. We enjoyed the crabbing and were thankful for all the help the staff gave us since we aren't seasoned crabbers. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice clean rooms. Non smoking. Lovely view. A lot of loving care has been done here. Look forward to going again. The staff was very friendly. We did not bring our dog but they are welcome. They aim to please.

What a great place to stay for anyone but if you have dogs it is perfect. My husband and I, along with our 4 dogs had everything we needed along with a beautiful view here. Jeff and Joanne made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The cookies and dog treats were a great touch. They were also helpful about the good resturants in the area and things to do whlie we were there. If you are going to the Oregon coast we would like to recommend stopping in at the Harborview and let Jeff and Joanne make your stay as wonderful as ours was. We are even planning another trip in February.

This stay was such an unexpected treat. We bought a Living Social deal for a 2 night package along with breakfast and free use of the crab equipment. We checked in Friday and met Jeff, the manager, who was extremely nice and helpful. He checked us in fast and was sure to point out the restaurants that are just a minute walk from the room. He offered to walk us through the crabbing equipment but I declined as I don't eat seafood. He was great the whole stay and said to let them know if we needed anything at all the whole weekend. He also gave me a treat bag for our dog which I thought was a great touch.

Our room was just perfect, very sweet decorations, comfy bed, fridge, micro, plenty large dressing area as well as a great walk-in shower. Plenty of hot water both in the evening and the mornings and they were plenty busy. For the price, I was expecting very very basic but was really happy with how nicely done the room was.

When we arrived on Friday, it was pouring rain and windy and still gorgeous watching the water. The bay was outside our window along with all the boats and boat launch. It was nice watching them the next morning all launching while still dark and foggy. I didnt hear them in our room at all except a few trucks pulling up, no different than at any hotel. The room itself was very quiet.
Saturday was nice and sunny so we were able to walk around quite a bit. The best view of the bay is just a 2 min walk from the room, next to a couple restaurants. I got a kick out of watching other people doing their crabbing off one of the docks.

There is a great seafood restaurant right there, a family type restaurant and lounge and a third small diner (great breakfast) all within 2 min walk. A 5 minute walk to a gas station, grocery store, and a 2 min drive to a few other restaurants and bars. This is a small town, it really is about the view, the quiet, the laid back lifestyle, and did I mention the view? Oh, there is also an ocean charter just a 2 min walk from your room for fishing!

Saturday nights they have smores and a fire out at the crab shack. I believe all year around, they did it this weekend, nice touch.

We just happened to put some antique furniture on layaway at the local antique store that we have to go back to pick up in Dec or early Jan, so guess what? We will be staying again! I highly recommend this place to anyone (unless you are a 5 star diva who expects doormen, onsite spa with masseuse, pool and room service-then you may want to pass!)

Room Tip: Tips: One side of hotel looks over the fishing boats and water, this is where the fishermen put in e...
