“Large portions, nice staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

The food was decent greasy spoon options. Fish was fresh, although the all-you-can-eat is "bottom fish" which was a little fishy for my tastes. They had a dipping sauce for the coconut shrimp that was quite tasty. Service was quick.

“No Complaints- This Place Is The Real Thing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Just what you would and should expect for a restaurant nestled in the heart of a real working fishing port. This place is not fancy but the decor fits the location and the type of food to a T. I had their famous fish and chips with a bowl of clam chowder as a starter. I liked both a lot with the chowder being the best. My fish was more Pacific Coast with a Panko like crust rather the the heavy beer batter you might see in an English type. I should have had the small size fish as the chowder was very filling. My wife had grilled Salmon which was equally as good. The service was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. This not a huge place but they do have a lunch counter. As we were leaving a group of 20 was just arriving so you can call ahead. I think they provide a unique experience and a fair value. For what it is, where they are located and the quality of their food there is no reason not be rated a FIVE!

“Best fish and chips in years!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

This place has the atmosphere of a diner but the staff is very friendly and the food is fabulous. It was fun not worrying about dressing up! We both had fish and chips, mine with scallops and his with clam strips. Every bite was delicious including that wonderful coleslaw. We will return!!

“Great burger”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

I heard the fish and chips were great and a lot of people were ordering them. I wanted a cheeseburger. It was quite tasty. Quaint and quick.

“Great service and great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

We walked in 20 minutes to closing on a Sunday evening and were graciously welcomed to come in and take a seat. We had been here before and loved their award winning fish and chips. They did not fail to satisfy once again. I had the fish sandwich on this visit and it was delicous.
