“Great Place to Eat and Relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

We really liked this restaurant and went to the campus location three times during the Olympic Track and Field Time Trials. There are many choices on the menu, the prices are very good, and the soup and desserts are especially good. This is NOT a fast food restaurant, so expect to spend a little time. But, we found the wait staff to be very attentive and friendly. It seems like a place where people go when they want to sit down, eat AND relax. There are both inside and outside seating options. This is not a fancy restaurant, but if I was a local, I would be a regular customer.

“Good food on a budget”

I always look forward to stopping here when I come home to visit family. The tomato soup and grilled cheese is a must.

“Really good food, great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Reasonably priced, excellent food, restaurant is in an old converted house - very nice. It was a very busy Sunday morning, servers were very nice, efficient, friendly. Good value, would definitely visit again.

“Time Travel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

This wonderful restaurant takes me back to the 1960s or 70s -- the menu is nostalgic for those of us who like healthy food with some spice and flavor. I love the homemade tomato soup and the omelets. The staff are willing to make exceptions and personalize your order, which is so nice.

“Great location, good breakfast, incredibly slow service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

The Glenwood is centrally located at the corner of 13th and Alder. They're well known around campus for their great breakfast and large burritos. The building is fun and there's plenty of space, but the service is always bad. I've been to the Glenwood about 5 times and I only got out in under 45 minutes once (and that's as a single person). Groups of people regularly wait 20 minutes for menus and almost as long for their check. It's good food, but, if you have somewhere to be in the next two hours, I'd think twice.
