“Average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

We had heard really good things about this restaurant so went with our family including grandchildren. The seating is long picnic tables down the middle so it was a little challenging with children. I had a Reuben sandwich and it was delivered with a big hunk of fat hanging off of the bread. We were really disappointed. It was also quite expensive for the amount of food we ordered. The restaurant was not a place to take a family but it seemed like a place to go to have a drink.

“A good addition to Falling Sky's offerings.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

The Falling Sky Deli is a good addition to the brewery proper. It offers a second location (closer to my work!) and while it still has all the amazing beer from the brewery, it offers a different style of food. The deli has what you might expect from a deli: sandwiches. I recommend the Juban: Mojo braised Brisket, Lamb Ham, Pickles, Swiss, Mustard. Simple, Delicious. Also, you can Rubinize any sandwich; who doesn't like kraut, russian dressing, and swiss?

“Absolutely Addictive”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

This is a deeply inspiring restaurant. Nobody else is serving food like this in Oregon. A really traditional style of sandwich combined with 21st-Century ingredients and local food sense. This might be the best restaurant in Eugene right now. Definitely check it out. It's totally worth the drive and cost.

“Very good food but a little pricey for sandwiches in Eugene”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2014

We have been here twice now and agree that the pastrami is superb. We have taken a few friends along and recommended it to other friends. As we have compared notes, we all have agreed that the sandwiches are priced pretty high for Eugene. I have had a couple friends say once was enough because of the food prices. The beer and wine prices are within normal limits. Our only gripe is about the price. You have to stand in line to order and then they bring the food out so it is sort of like 50% full service. It makes it a little confusing in factoring in a tip for the staff.

“pastrami paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

OMG. Beef, lamb, or duck pastrami. The entire menu is awesome. Everything is brined, cured, plckled, and baked in house. Add their vast list of house made micro brews, and I think we found deli paradise.
