Let me start with the description of the entree I ordered, Surf and Turf:
Line caught Oregon Grenadier. Pan seared over slow cooked leek fondue stuffed green onion crepes. Pork belly comfit over orange scented asparagus spears with a vanilla balsamic reduction between.
Now, does that sound wonderful or what? The presentation and the taste matched the description - Wonderful! The wine was delicious, the warm spinach salad was one of the best I've eaten anywhere.
The owner came to our table to chat and made us feel at home. The atmosphere was even enjoyed by my mother, the ever-present critic of ambiance. We found the table service timely and nonintrusive. It's one of the very few restaurants in the area in this price range that you can hear not only your table mates but also hear yourself think.
We will most-assuredly return, especially with out-of-town guests.
