On our most recent visit, we enjoyed the Sunday brunch. We had a large group, so we made a reservation and we were seated right away. We started with basil bloody mary's, which is a recipe thought up by one of the bartenders. They were excellent, spicy, but not too spicy with delicious basil and tomato flavors. For brunch I had the eggs benedict with lox. This was perfectly prepared, and I was surprised and delighted to be asked by our server how I wanted my eggs poached. They also offer a half order, which I do recommend, as this dish is not only rich, it is piled high with lox. I was barely able to finish the half order. These people know what they are doing. My partner ordered the chicken fried steak, which is a filet mignon that is butterflied and then breaded and cooked to perfection, all served with his choice of sides. This restaurant is amazing, clearly well managed and expertly staffed. It is not easy to host a breakfast crowd one day a week when you are a dinner house. Well done!
