“Pretty views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2012

Pretty. It's been awhile, but I remember it being a good hike, even in the rain (if you have good shoes).

“Walker, jogger or runner, a beautiful place to be”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

I confess, I have little to no interest in "Pre (yeah, I know it's Steve Prefontain's nick-name), but the trail is just a beautiful, relaxing place to walk on a weekday. With a few different, but connecting forks in the path, you can walk along the Willamette, trail off though the forest, and head out to the open Autzen Wildlife area along the canal - or, just walk along the river the whole way. I don't know if the whole pathway is considered part of "Pre's Trail", but the entire walk-way stretches for miles, from Mill Street in the east, all the way though Autzen Park and into downtown Eugene!

“Great place to run.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2012

You have to come a run on Pre's Trail. Just the history alone makes it a worth while event.

“Lovely.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2012

I have spent hours over the years on these trails. They are very nicely barked, and there are some paved trails along the river. I even did some volunteer work, helping to make a gravel base for the trails. Lots of people volunteer to keep these trails up. They are a terrific part of Eugene.

“Sometimes squishy, but alway beautiful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2012

I have run many times on Pre's Trail it is sort of mucky at times, but it is beautiful all year round and the people on it tend to be friendly. The trail itself is well kept and is nice to run on.
