The Dundee Bistro of course sits in the middle of Oregon wine country and offers a great selection of local (and other) wines.
I visited mid-week for a late lunch. There were only a few other diners in the restaurant. On arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant is relatively casual with high ceilings, light-toned wood furniture and a partially open kitchen. There was a fireplace burning. I'm not sure what the environment would be like when the restaurant is full of guests, but on this quiet afternoon it was inviting, warm and very relaxing.
Our server was pleasant, soft-spoken and capable.
I had Tagliatelle with truffle butter, sprinkled with a little finely grated parmesan. The pasta was perfectly cooked, subtle and only a little rich. My mother had a salad. The ingredients seemed very fresh and flavorful. We each had a glass of local wine. As it turned out, the two glasses of wine cost more than the food items - not a bad thing.
We had a leisurely and very enjoyable meal - overall a great experience.
