“Wonderful Time”

This was our second visit to Wine Country Farm B&B in seven years. It has not changed. Comfortable accommodations, fantastic views and a great breakfast. It is a wonderful base for visiting wineries.

If you are into Oregon pinot noirs, this is the place for you. A great place to base yourself as you tour the region. Booking a horse ride through the vineyards is GREAT, as is feeding carrots to the Arabian horses on site. Best little town that we'd recommend for hanging out in is Carlton. The B&B is in a lovely building and location, with fantastic views. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but the staff are helpful, generous and friendly and the breakfast is huge and delicious. A really great place if you can afford it!

My wife and I stayed at Wine Country Farm in July 2009. This was our second stay, and we would definitely stay there again. We stayed in the main home building, which is lovely and very comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious, and the hospitality is ever present. It is located at the top of the Dundee Hills, and the views are magnificent, looking out over some of the finest vineyards in Oregon. The grounds are gorgeous with many outdoor seating areas to enjoy. It is located a short drive from many wonderful restaurants in Dundee such as Tina's, Red Hills Provincial and Dundee Bistro. We toured many wineries, and some of the finest are located very close to Wine Country Farm, such as Domaine Drouhin, Domaine Serene, Archery Summit and De Ponte Cellars.

the setting is stunning on a hill in the vineyards. Joan, the owner, is gracious and makes you feel at home right away.
The suites were lovely set among the vines. Breakfast is served daily, but we did not get to participate as we were involved in an event that took us away in the mornings.
Cell phone service is not very good at that spot, but the peaceful nature of the surroundings seems to discourage cell phones.
Would absolutely return again.

Three of us stayed for three nights at the Wine Country Farm. I would highly recommend it and would stay there again if I'm in the area. Many high-quality wineries are within a mile or so of the inn (a few within walking distance) and even more are within several miles. The owner has worked hard to make your stay comfortable. The homemade, full-course breakfasts are beyond belief. There are so many areas to sit outside and enjoy the fantastic views of the vineyards and much of the Dundee Hills wine area. Our room was large and with the large area on the first level with a kitchen, family room, etc. made it feel like we had an entire house. The horses on the grounds were a pleasure to see. The incredible landscaping (flower, flowers everywhere!) was just amazing. A great place to stay to visit wineries anywhere in Dundee, McMinnville, Dayton, Carlton, etc.

This place is a wonderful getaway. Only 45 min from Downtown Portland, OR it feels like a whole different world. The B&B is nestled in a vineyard of it's own and within a 10 min walk to numerous other world renowned Wineries. They offer horseback wine tasting tours which I would highly recommend.
