“Definately coming back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2010

Everytime I have came into Sharons the service has been great. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. I understand that the cafe expanded a few years back so the seating size is bigger than their kitchen can keep up to so the food wait is a little longer than average, but its well worth the wait :)

“Old School Road Side Diner / Coffeeshop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2010

My wife & I stopped here on a late Sunday afternoon, so there was no waiting for a table...

This place a great old school breakfast/lunch diner that is clean and comfortable for out of towners. Open from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Wife had the Cinnamon French Toast combo and I had the San Francisco Joe combo. All dishes were great and satisfying. Service was attentive and quick. Would definitely be back when visiting Corvallis again and recommend it to any out of towners.

“Good food - Expansion has hurt service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2010

Sharon's has been the go to lumberjack, blue collar, big portion breakfast in town since it opened. A couple of years ago, they doubled in size, but didn't expand the kitchen. If you go in for Sunday brunch at 10:00 am or Noon, you are looking at 45 minutes to an hour (or more) to get your food. Go in when things are a little slower, everything is great. Basically, their kitchen capacity isn't big enough for the number of tables.

Assuming you aren't going in at peak times, the food is good, hot and in massive amounts. Traditional American breakfast with hash browns, eggs, bacon and the like seem to be their wheel house. Have had success with the kids eating hamburgers and chicken strips too.

“Times they are a changin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2010

Certainly the best breakfast in town, especially the waffles. However, the latest posted notes on the tables were unfortunate. Okay, these are difficult economic times and the prices are going up; still it's a great deal. However, now your dining experience will be timed...once you get your food you will have 45 minutes to eat...on your marks, get set, go. "Courtesy" now requires you to sit at the counter if you only want coffee. If I only wanted coffee, I'd would go to the Beanery. Groups of 5 or more will be charged an automatic 15% tip. We usually tip 20-25%...maybe we'll stick to 15%. Grumble, grumble, grumble.

“OK food, poor service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2009

Foods been ok in the past but they seem to have gone downhill of lately. Under cooked hashbrowns that were still raw in the middle, over done eggs, and cold gravy were my last experience. They also seem to have some new help that dont offer the kind of personalized service we used to get. Dot think we will be going back.
