Nice average business traveler type of hotel. Not a 5 Star, but certainly nice, clean, and not dated or run down. Rooms are clean with decent size bathroom. Nice shower with decent water pressure. Front desk has a basket of fresh free apples for guests. Great location. Easy on/off freeway, but just far enough away for there to be no traffic noise. Close to nice mall and restaurants. Nice indoor pool and spa. Only negatives were parking lot tends to be almost completely full at night after about 9PM, so cars were having to double park. Also the maid service appears to be in a big hurry to clean the rooms as early as possible. When I stated it was going to be an hour before I could allow them access I got vibes of "well your holding up the show". Over-all I would stay here again. I looked at other hotels in the area and none appeared to be as nice and well kept.

I keep going back to this little gem, they "get it." First of all, their rates are more than competitive and very reasonable.

The amenities are well planned--indoor pool and whirlpool (it is Portland, after all), a restaurant and lounge that are comfortable, intimate, with menus that change often enough to be interesting if you're there more than one or two nights....

For the price, I always feel a bit spoiled. Great towels, wonderful soft bed pillows (and lots of them), free internet outlets. And if you don't feel like bringing your laptop, free computer access in the business center.

Centrally located right off Highway 205 and within 1/2 mile of the Clackamas Town Centre, many great shopping and dining choices in the immediate area, all about 20 miles south of PDX.

I've stayed there more than 6 times in the past 2 years. You should go!

We needed 2 rooms for 4 nights due to a death in our family. We also had 35 other family members coming to stay. I had no trouble booking and they gave us a great rate called a memorial rate. We asked to be booked on the same floor and area. We can be a noisy bunch. We gathered in different rooms each night (20-30) people. They did not send anyone up to tell us to quiet down. I was amazed. We booked the gathering room for one night. I don't believe they even charged us for it. They had great lists of restaraunts and great directions for the area. There was shoppping center with a Target and Starbucks within walking ( 1 Block)The pool and spa were good. Small workout room but was nice. The staff was amazing. They even slipped a sympathy card under our door. The only drawback was that the lounge was closed due to a pipe bursting. We made due. Overall it was a great stay despite the reason we were there. If I ever have a need to go to Clackamas again I will definately stay there. It was about 10 minutes from the airport and many family members were making trips. All were pleased with the location and the quiet. I actually am going to book more of my stays in Courtyards or Marriott product hotels after our experience there. Thank you again! You were great!!

My three children and I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Clackamas on New Year’s Day and were pleasantly surprised at the excellent customer service we received there. I booked the room on line and requested extra feather pillows and extra blankets – when we arrived, two hours before our check-in time – our rooms were ready and we were checked in right away.

We were offered fresh fruit and the breakfast routine was explained to us in detail. After we were in our rooms, the front desk called to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

It was so nice to find a property that truly cared about their guest’s comfort. I know this kind of treatment should be expected but, based on my traveling experiences, it rarely happens. I will stay at this hotel anytime I visit the Portland, Oregon area in the future.
