“very unhappy employees & sad treatment !!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

The employees stated they were not allowed to speak to the public for fear of retaliation

The store was well stocked and had some interesting items for adults as well as children. The employees looked like frightened robots. When asked if everything was ok, they clammed up & said they were not allowed to say!!! Service was average.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

This visit started out very well and went quickly downhill from there. My wife and I were greeted promptly and professionally upon arriving. My soup and my wife's salad were both fresh and of
excellent quality. It was then a good 25 minutes before we saw our waitress again. Since the other waitresses were observed to be steadily making deliveries from the kitchen, I don't think that portion of the staff could be blamed.
When our entrees finally arrived they were luke warm at best. My stroganoff had good flavor, but the beef utilized was dry and chewy as if it had been overcooked. My wife had the stuffed porkchop which was also very dry and tough. Both entrees were very disappointing to say the least. Others have given this establishment good reviews, but I find it hard to believe that the truck driver crowd will continue to tolerate this kind of food service.

“Very nice truck stop restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

This restaurant is between one of the best RV Parks in the country and Seven Feathers Casino, one of the nicest casinos around. The restaurant is a truck stop but is a great place to stop with family or if you are just driving by on I-5. Food, service, prices are great. Stop by, you won't be sorry.
