“Lumberyard Makes You Feel Right At Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We had a great time at Lumberyard...granted, we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching football games with the bartenders and the other locals that sat around it as well. I'm embarrassed to say we spent a weekend at Cannon Beach in Oct where the sun was shining and the temperature hovered around 65 and we spent literally 10+ hours over three days at the Lumberyard. But we had a great time watching football games, visiting with the bartenders, and getting to know other people that were joining us as well.

I want to call out Matt, Allen, and Geoff who worked the bar while we were there. Each of them were some of the nicest bartenders I have ever had, fun, interactive, cool, and just made you feel at home as if you were a local.

The food is also good. It's not fine dining, but I would call it, upscale sportsbar food. The burger is great, pizzas are pretty decent, and BBQ chicken salad was good as well. I would also ALWAYS add the wedge salad for $3.99 with a meal. A darn good wedge for the money! Not a lot of seafood here so if you're looking for good fish at the coast, you might want to look at another place. There's also a wine bar attached to the Lumberyard and it has some GREAT bottles for purchase or to taste. Check it out while there.

Happy hour is from 3-6pm everyday and they have some good pricing on some great food. The nachos are a great deal and micros go from $5 bucks to a mere $3. And I have to honestly say, COLDEST beer in town. The beer is so ice cold, by the time you're almost done drinking it it has warmed up to about what most places serve theirs at.

“Dog friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant was very dog friendly, my party of 4 included a dog so we looked for a place with a patio. Lumberyard not only had a patio but the offered us a bowl of water and a milk bone for Major. The atmosphere on the deck was relaxed and the drinks were excellent. The food was fresh and hot.

“Great place to eat ribs or burgers and watch football!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

The Lumberyard is a good place to eat with a nice bar area and TV's all around to watch sports. The ribs are awesome with a good smoky flavor. I also found that they cooked my burger to perfection...well done...which most places don't get right. The sight actually used to be a lumberyard so it is designed in that light with open duct work and ceiling. It is a popular place so it can get crowded quick. The service was okay but nothing special. Definitely have the s'mores for dessert! We will be back.

“Decent Food Great Place to Watch the Game”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

The food was decent. We ate fried pickles, and onion rings as appetizers. Stick with beer and wine. The mixed drinks were poor. Had the crab legs with were fresh. The ribs were also good. The smore dessert is fabulous Great place to watch football and meet up with friends. Chain like atmosphere with warm friendly service. Place is closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

“Not so hot”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

Not overly impressed. Service is good but food is not made with a lot of love. Had ravioli and pasta was not cooked enough and sauce was cold and looked like it came from a can. Disappointing as it's typically hard to mess up pasta

So sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the pasta. I talked to the chef and he will go over preparation with his staff. Thank you for letting us know what your experience was. We can always learn if we are willing to listen. Best Regards, Vicki Clarke
