“Good breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014 via mobile

We had heard about this restaurant and so had to check it out. The food was really good. I had a basic egg/hash brown breakfast and my husband had the blueberry pancakes. We both enjoyed our food.

“Good food but a bit on the pricey side”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

This restaurant is a bit tough to review as we really do love the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The waitstaff is always friendly. Sometimes when they are really busy though you'll have to wait quite a bit for your food. Also, we just always find that their prices just seem a bit steep, especially compared to other breakfast places and sometimes their quantity could be more. For example, when I order the crepes, I always end up disappointed that there aren't more of them. So then I end up ordering 'side dishes' to go with it and all that adds up quickly with the cost. So as mentioned, we've never had a complaint with the food - it is always delicious. We just wish they would increase their quantity of some of the dishes and/or lower some of their prices. Because of that, we often find us choose some of the other restaurants in town (like Mo's or the Wayfarer), over this one, when it comes to breakfast.

“What you would expect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

What you would expect in a pancake house. The menu was extensive enough, the service ok and food good. The bacon was actually cooked better than in most breakfast restaurants

“Good breakfast spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

This is one of a small chain of restaurants along the Oregon coast. We went for breakfast one morning, and thought that it was very nice. There was a mix of both local and tourist business. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere and service were friendly.

“Quite the wait for the food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

There is always a huge line and wait for Pig 'n Pancake. It's a cute restaurant, and the breakfasts and good, but not much different than you would find at a chain restaurant that serves breakfasts. I think it thrives on its reputation alone. Worth visiting if you don't have to wait half an hour or more.
