Our dishwasher was full of "clean" dishes when we arrived in our room. So at the beginning of our vacation, I had to unload the dishwasher. The glasses had lipstick marks on them so the dishwasher is obviously not very effective. The fireplace didn't work. It had a small flicker of a flame that drove us nuts when the lights were off and we were trying to sleep. The fan in the bathroom emits heat. We discovered this after turning it on for background noise and wondering why our room was so hot (even though the heat was not on). There was no screen on the balcony door. This would have been nice to have so our dog could not wander on to the balcony. The view was gorgeous and the access to the beach is great. I was disappointed with the amenities in the room. For the price that we paid, I expected more.

I come here every year with my girl friends just before Christmas. The rooms are large and always clean. The staff is always very friendly. it is a quick trip to the Seaside Outlet malls so we can get some shopping done without the kids and husbands. We always have a great time and we always stay at the Tolovana INN.

Everytime we go to the beach we stay at Tolovana Inn. The staff is very friendly and remembers us from each stay. This is the a destination for us because the only thing we can complain about is the weather. We have never been disappointed and we enjoy the family atmosphere with kids and animals. On a scale of 1 to 5 I would rate this diamond in the rough a 6...especially off-season.

We, my wife and family, have been staying at Tolovanna Inn for years. It is contagious as two of our children that are now married stay there when going to the Oregon Coast and our son stays there when in Oregon for business. It is always very relaxing and the staff is so friendly. We tell everyone going to the Oregon Coast to check out Tolovanna Inn.
