I have stayed here previously but this is the first visit since the remodel. Fantastic Job!! The view is unbeatable and rooms very clean and with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The price is good for the privacy and wonderful Ocean Front view. Will return for sure!!!!

Room Tip: The lower level is great as you can step from the green lawn to the sandy beach in just a few steps...

Loved this hotel....walking distance into town, quiet, clean and great grassy area with chairs that overlooks a fantastic walking beach. We will for sure be returning! Front desk was cheerful and helpful with ideas for dinner in town. Beds were comfortable, with fireplace and like the refridge, sink, microwave (incld. plates, glasses, silverware etc.) so we could cook meals in room if needed. Also liked the BBQ's and picnic tables on grassy area.

We've stayed here several times and enjoyed it. It's not on the "best" part of the beach (that would be nearer Haystack Rock) but close enough and right in town, easy walking distance to restaurants and the Rock. The last time we stayed there (4/20), the woman who checked us in was superficially pleasant (ie, phony), but passive aggressive. She didn't bother to tell us where the wi-fi password was (on the key card sleeve, we discovered the next day), what the "rules" for using the hot tub were (you have to make an appt, one visit per room, per day), or that there was a charge for borrowing movies from the hotel. These things are all fine, but are good to know so you can plan accordingly. Plus, my husband has a bad back, and on the last night of our road trip was really sore. We certainly wouldn't have let our 12 year-old use the hot tub, and, it turns out, our allotted "slot" had we known the rules. However, after denying our request for a second time slot out of hand, she called back a few minutes later and said we could use it after all. What, she couldn't check the schedule while on the phone? She just likes to say "no"? Anyway, that was really the only issue we had. The woman who checked us out the next day was very nice. And go to Bill's Tavern down the street - they have the best halibut and chips anywhere!

Room Tip: We didn't know we'd been assigned to an accessible room, one of the few that doesn't fac...

What a wonderful place, perfectly located in Cannon Beach between the downtown area with all its shops and restaurants, and a spectacular beach with views of Haystack Rock. We loved the room, ours had a nice fireplace, a kitchen that was well outfitted, and a separate bedroom with a really comfortable bed that had lots of pillows. I also have to say the staff was really nice. We will stay here again.

What a fabulous place, smack dab in the middle of Cannon Beach, Oregon. Within walking distance of everything. A stunning view of Haystack Rock. Our room was incredible, neat, clean, modern, lovely furnishings, a bed and pillows that I wanted to take home with me. Exceptional service by the staff. I highly recommend this gem at the Oregon Coast!

Room Tip: All rooms have an unblocked, stunning view of the ocean. Rooms on the second floor would provide you...

Once again, my husband and I enjoyed a fabulous 3 nights at Schooner's Cove. The location cannot be beat as it's literally one block from downtown Cannon Beach, with shops and restaurants within an easy 2 minute walk. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the view from the balcony is fabulous. We loved having breakfast on our balcony, and even ordered a pizza from the pizza parlor around the corner (Fultano's, I believe) to eat in one night. The pizza was delicious, not your run-of-the-mill Papa John's or Pizza Hut. We will definitely be back, and won't stay anywhere else, even if it means tweaking our dates. Schooner's Cove is that good!!

Room Tip: Any room with a beach view is fabulous!!

I've been to Schooner's several times and will continue to go back. You can't get much better than this! It's situated in Cannon Beach, best little beach town in Oregon, and all rooms have beach views and easy access down to the water. Rooms and grounds are perfectly upkept and beautiful! Staff is very helpful and friendly. And you can walk 1 block into town for food and shopping.

I have twin baby girls and recently took them with me to the resort so they could experience their first crawl on the beach. Of course, we stayed at Schooner's. I was pleasantly surprised that they had Pack-n-Plays for them, plus bedding (that's rare and usually I have to bring my own when we travel) and high chairs. Totally equipped for my family.

Thanks to Scooner's for always making my trip to Cannon Beach a great one! See you soon.

Room Tip: Look at their website to see layouts of rooms. They all have ocean views, but I prefer being able t...
