“Loved the Inn at Cannon Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

We traveled with our children and really enjoyed the warm oatmeal raisin cookies, hot chocolate and cider. They had beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. to borrow. The staff was wonderful and the property was beautiful. Alas, there is no pool, but being right next to the coast we probably wouldn't have had time. Great location and very quiet. We stayed for two nights. I would travel in the fall again. Enjoyed the fireplace and large bathroom. Nicely decorated rooms and really great feel to the place. Like a little village in heaven. Kitchen small with only a microwave, small sink, and small fridge, but adequate for most needs. The breakfast was very good and in a building right across from the office. The grounds were beautiful and very inviting. It felt like visiting friends. I would give it an award for being hospitable. Would return again.

Room Tip: Loved our room. Don't think there is a bad room here.

for 1 night, we enjoyed our stay. Our room (207) was most comfortable with a spa, nice bathroom. The staff at the front desk is friendly and welcoming. The complex is more like a small village. It is quiet and very close to the 101.If we'll go back to that part of the Coast, we'll stay there again, for sure.

My wife and I set out to enjoy the Oregon Coast and Cannon Beach was our first stop. The town itself is wonderful, quaint, with incredible views of Haystack Rock. The Inn sits right on the south end of town about a block from the beach in a quiet little neighborhood. The staff was friendly, welcoming us with fresh cookies. The rooms are set in little bungalows around a beautiful center garden. Our room was clean, with a deck, fireplace, large jetted tub and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet in the morning was enjoyable with eating inside and out. Just a short walk to the beach, with a sundries shop and bakery across the street. Perfect place to stay on the northern coast!

The Inn at Cannon Beach is a beautiful lodging facility with, well kept grounds and facilities. My wife and I very much appreciated everything about this place including the people. Everyone was kind, friendly and helpful. We will surely return here whenever we visit Cannon Beach in the future.

My boyfriend and I loved this place. Great soft comfy bed, spa tub, and they even had new release movies that you could borrow! My boyfriend does not sleep well without a fan. We opened the closet and found a fan..he was so excited! We will for sure stay here again next time!

We spent two nights here in September. The weather was perfect. Since school had started, there weren't too many tourists either. The rooms are like little cabins, each with a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. Very romantic. The abundant windows overlook manicured grounds with bunnies running around and lawn chairs everywhere. It's very inviting. They have an extensive collection of DVDs for you to borrow. Breakfast is served in the gallery. It is not a home cooked breakfast, but it is better than average and there is no blaring tv! My only complaint is that there is no view of the ocean. In fact, it was hard to find any place to eat that had a view of the ocean!

Room Tip: I don't think you could go wrong.

I would have given this hotel an "excellent", but then what would you have for a 5 star property. It is a really nice place, ideally located for peace and quiet and beauty. If you want to be close to the action, however, you probably would want to stay closer to town. They really go out of their way to meet all your needs. My husband really enjoyed the free movie DVDs from the desk and the yummy cookies. They have a very nice continental breakfast, just a little run-of-the-mill though. We both agreed that we would stay there again.

Room Tip: We had a large room over the laundry. It was off by itself, quiet and the only ocean view on the pro...

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
This beautifully wooded property at the quiet south end of Cannon Beach takes full advantage of the beauty of its' natural setting. The architecture and scale of the inn is very residential and cottage-like. Some guests have equated the feel of The Inn at Cannon Beach to a very high end summer camp for adults and families. The warm natural wood exteriors provide a rustic backdrop for the breathtaking native plants, perennials and long blooming annuals that color the property throughout much of the year. Fragrant garden paths with towering spruce trees meander between the various cabin-like buildings creating a sense of escape. The Inn’s central courtyard serves as a social gathering place for guests to come together in a beautiful woodland setting. Many find a sunlit bench the perfect spot to begin a new novel or to enjoy the wind in the trees. Our naturalized pond and it’s flowering borders is a center piece of the courtyard and attracts small wildlife and birds of many sorts. Voluptuous hanging flower baskets fill the walkways with fragrance and the occasional beat of hummingbird wings.Guest rooms are warm and inviting with all the comforts of home. The rooms are cozy and enjoyable on a stormy winter day with the fireplace ablaze and a good book. And when the sun is out, guests throw open the windows to enjoy the birdsong and salt sea air, taking their book outdoors. ... more   less
