We were very happy to receive our re-charger for our Kindle that we accidentally left behind. The customer service is beyond wonderful. Nice to have a laundry facility on premises, the view was outstanding, the room was clean and the staff was especially friendly! Thank you! One review stated that the downside of the hotel was the lack of fitness facility....well, how about a great walking or jogging beach right in front of your room!!!

Room Tip: All great views!

they have their own private beach-they're dog friendly-i used to go there every year with my mom and my dog-nina-sadly my mom past away a few years ago but the staff still remembered her and our names and made us feel most welcome-there is a great convient restaurant across the street-i was only going to stay one night but ended up staying another night it-it was pleasant watching the waves lap in and out in our cozy room

This is a typical best western except for the beach front rooms. amazing view and the beach is merely steps away from balcony. The only downside is the lack of onsite fitness facility. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This place it literally on the beach. All rooms face the ocean so you cannot go wrong when it comes to the views.

Thought the rooms rates were a little steep but it is a good location, that said only for the views. There is not a great deal within easy walking distance. There is a restaurant / bar over the road though which was very busy but we did not eat there. The bar appeared to be a somewhat older crowd (50 ish). Also a really nice pizza place just to the north around the water front, only a few minutes walk and around it a seafood joint and burger joint. Only ate at the pizza place, very small but food was great. The rest is up in town which for the younger crowd can be walked but for older people maybe a $5 cab ride.

Breakfast was pretty lame which was the only thing letting this place down. Served it a meeting room and food crammed into a very small area so it was rubbing elbows with other guests to get a look in at the food. The food itself was basic but did the job.

Rooms themselves were modern and well decorated, bathroom fittings etc were nice and overall was very clean. King room was very large with more than enough room for a crib and leaving room for using the lounge chairs of which there was a double and a single. Front of the room is glass from floor to ceiling so you can lay in bed and watch the ocean or sit on your small balcony and enjoy the view also. WiFi internet very fast and free.

All that said the best part you are allowed to have a fire on the beach right out front of the hotel, the hotel staff are happy to provide newspaper and matches to get you going. Plenty wood on the beach and just use a fire pit someone else has created, they are everywhere. One thing though this is nice thing to be allowed so be considerate of other beach users, take your rubbish with you and make sure your fire is out.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast good, served on real plates and juice in glass glasses. The room was clean and spacious. We could hear and see the ocean from our room. It was fun going to sleep and waking up to ocean sounds.

We stayed here two years ago and really enjoyed it then, spending a day longer than we had intended.

Room Tip: All rooms appear to have a good view. We choose the second or third floor and enjoy standing or sitt...

This hotel is situated on the beach in Brookings and each room has an ocean view which was the best feature of this hotel. No extra charge for an ocean view and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night but would willingly return if we were in the area again.
There is a nice but somewhat overpriced restuarant across the street calle Sebastians. The beach is great for strolling.I have little else to say and padding the review to reach 200 characters is a pain in the proverbial rear end.

This lovely Inn is located right on the ocean. All rooms have a balcony facing the water and you can hear the waves crashing along the shore. A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is provided and the food is plentiful. Although it was foggy during the one night we spent here, I would imagine the view on a sunny day is phenomenal. Some of the guests even made a fire down by the water's edge the night we were there. Sebastian's restaurant across the street was tasty and the gift shop attached to the restaurant had a wonderful collection of bugs in plastic that made a great take home gift for the kids!

Room Tip: If you are worried about tsunamis, please be aware that the hotel is located in an area that could b...
