“You get what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Pros: they accepted our last-minute reservation with a dog, staff was friendly, room was clean. It featured all the things we've come to expect from an old motel: box tv with bad reception, street noise, traffic/sign lights shining in the windows, noise from neighbors arriving at all hours. The only major con was the strong deodorizer they used, presumably to cover up the pet stains and cigarette smoke. It made my eyes water and my nose run (honestly I would have preferred to just smell the cigarettes). The super-hot shower and good location made up for it.

Room Tip: Stay on the second floor if you are sensitive to lights from traffic/signs.

We desperately needed a place to stay that accepted pets. We were greeted by a very nice employee. The room looked clean. It had small TV, micro, and refridg (no coffee maker). There was a powerful deodirizer smell but by night time that smell was replaced by pet urine smell that burned my nostril hairs. Luckliy we were only staying the night. Matties restaurant is located across from the motel and opened at 6. We ate breakfast there. Outstanding service and food was good.
