It does not matter what time of the year you come to visit it's always worthwhile. We love this place.

“Picture Perfect Waterfall Moments”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2012

With Multnomah Falls located in such close proximity to Portland, its quite a treat. The problem is that everybody else visiting Portland has the same idea which leads to an abundance of people checking out these falls. So you won't be able to view the highest falling year round falls in complete peace but its very uncommon to see such a beautiful waterfall anywhere close to a large metropolitan city.

Most people will take the easier route to the viewpoint bridge and turn around since this hike isn't very strenuous. The ones that are more adventurous will take the 2 mile round trip hike to the top of the falls. Regardless of which route you take, hopefully you get a non-rainy day to enjoy mother nature at Multnomah Falls and don't forget your camera!

“Local must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2012

A must see stop for all visitors to the Portland area. As locals we stop at least once a year to walk up to the viewpoint bridge and always take a long gaze as we drive by other times.

“spectacular”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2012

Never gets old. Worth the stop if you're passing by on 84 (a good ice cream break, too), and a great day trip if you want a hike and some great pictures. Take the old highway and stop at several falls along the way. Beautiful in all seasons.
