Description: On February 1st 2012, nearly 25 years after our Bond Street Public House opened as the original home of Deschutes Brewery, we tapped the keg on a new era. Our newly expanded Pub offers more space, more seats, more service and one long-awaited less: wait times. As always, our talented team of chefs use only the finest ingredients, with an emphasis on fresh and handcrafted products. Everything possible, including sausage, breads and mustard is made on premise. Even your burger will come from local beef partially raised on feed recycled from our brewing process. And Bond Street remains your ringside seat on limited batch and experimental brews as well as year-round classic brews.

“Biggest and most popular in town...consistent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

This is the biggest craft brewer in town but its consistent and good. Good beers, good food and good service. Our family consists of meat eaters, kids and a vegetarian and we all had a delicious meal! Even though it was crowded as it usually is, we had great service and were seated within 20 minutes. Try the Elk Burger!

“Nice place for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Our 3 generation family ate lunch at Deschutes Brewery. The young ones, ages 1,3, and 4, were given a coloring page and colors along with a child's menu as we were seated. The 4 year old ordered a grilled cheese sandwich which came with a choice of sides. She asked for applesauce and was given a full bowl - enough to share with her father, sister, and grandmother. I tried their specialty sandwich - the Bahn Mi which was an Asian pork sandwich. Interesting, but not outstanding.
The other adults had elk burgers and a pub burger which they enjoyed. The sweet potato fries were great. The décor is airy and attractive. The prices are reasonable. We all had a great time.

“Highly recommended but just ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

This place came highly recommended by some friends. I think our expectations might have been too high. The food and service were good and I think had we just walked off the street we would have been happy with this place. The waitress strongly recommended the Reuben which was just OK, wouldn't even make my top 20 though. I must admit I am not a beer drinker so had I had a few beers maybe the food would have been better.

“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

I had the macaroni and cheese and it was wonderful. The portion was large and the food was fast in arriving at the table. I would go back and eat here again when I visit Bend.

“The Original Bend Brew house”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

We went to dinner at this very popular downtown restaurant with our inlaws. I had an elk burger with regular french fries. Others in our party had hamburgers and sweet potato fries. The portions were very large and the kids had pasta from the kids menu. Besides being Bend's first brewery the food in the restaurant is excellent as well. This place is always worth a stop if want to a flavor of local food and drink.
