“Better Than Expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

After a lonnng weekend of pub crawling in Bend, Oregon over the Memorial Day holiday, we came upon Worthy Brewing Company by way of a friend's recommendation. What a find! Very modern inside and out. Looks brand new. A little loud inside due to 30-ft ceiling and a concrete floor, but that is to be expected in most brew pubs these days. The décor a mixture of modern minimalism, industrial and rustic-repurposing (the wood for trim, tables and benches reclaimed from the demolition of the Salem Hospital - lumber originally felled in Springfield in 1895!). Seating outside takes the cake. Concrete and wood benches surround multiple open-air gas fire pits. Umbrella-covered tables paired with torchiere-style heaters. The patio area is dog-friendly and includes a grass area for yard games to entertain the troops if you're waiting for an inside table. Evenings the interior and exterior are well lit, but still provide some degree of mood for that first or double date with friends. We look forward to our next visit!!
The beer is very good to excellent - having tried their light, refreshing Kolsch, and their amazing, full flavored IPA. For food, we enjoyed the delicious sweet potato fries and the perfectly cooked Steelhead fish tacos! Service was good, despite a full house on a holiday weekend.

“Outstanding!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

The beer is wonderful, the food exceptional! The building is spectacular!!! The business namesake/owner is a good friend of our daughter and she encouraged us to stop in. What a delightful surprise! A must visit for any beer (or food) connoisseur living in or passing through Bend Oregon.

“Fun in the Outdoor Patio”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2014

We gave it another try, as there are beer drinkers in our group. This time it had much improved.
The weather was nice, so we sat outdoors in the patio.
They make their own beer, and our beer drinkers were happy.

Our food was okay. The big problem was one person had to wait, and wait and wait to get her order. That has always happened when we have had a large group.

We ordered a variety of food, salads, sandwiches etc. Most people were happy with their orders. Our person who ordered a gluten-free pizza was impressed how much the crust had improved.

Our server was quick, attentive and smiling. That was the day after the Pole,Pedal Paddle race in town,so they were busy. It looked like they had planned to be busy, because they certainly had enough staff.

We will return, but only because of the convenience and our beer drinkers. It really was just "okay".

“Ok but could be better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

Had lunch on May 17. Food was ok but the wraps we had were a bit dry. The atmosphere is nice for a lunch with friends. Server was nice but service was slow and it wasn't real busy. Would eat there again but isn't as good as some other brew pubs we've dined at

“GREAT BREW PUB!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

Just visiting in Bend. Stopped at this new pub and was not disappointed. It was a busy Friday so we sat at the bar. Food was very good, and came out in a timely manner. The beer selection is very good. Definitely try the stout float with vanilla ice cream ----mmmmmmm GOOD! There is even an outdoor play area for kids, if you have to wait for a table.
