“Easy and centrally located”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

My fiancé and I always stay here when coming to Bend. Best place for the price. Easy to get to the river for a float; 10 barrel, Crux, or Boneyard for a beer, or into town. Can easily walk anywhere in Bend from here. Perhaps my favorite part is that they give you the code to the door, your key is on the bed and you leave it there when you leave. No need to deal with the front desk like at a hotel. Rooms are also very comfortable, shared bathroom freshly renovated, no complaints.

Look forward to our next weekend there.

Room Tip: Room at the entrance by the front door can get a little noisy with people coming in and out; get a r...

I loved the self check in system, as we did not know what time we were arriving. The room was great and the breakfast was fantastic! The best waffle I have ever had! We will definitely return. My only regret is that we only got to stay one night.

This was an anniversary get-away. Comfortable room, luxurious bed/bedding. It is located at the corner of 2 busy streets, which caused some concern, but the traffic died down around 10 pm and it was quiet until 6:30 am. The aroma of coffee drifted up to our room by that time, so worked out perfectly. Gourmet breakfast each morning. We walked to downtown for dinner, and another evening to the Old Mill District for dinner, perfect location to reach your destination walking. Although there are 10 rooms, the place was very quiet. My only suggestion would be to have 2 or 3 large tables for breakfast, so everyone can mingle while eating. That is how we have learned what others have enjoyed in the area, and we have shared our favorite experiences for the newcomers. Enjoyed our white-water rafting down the Deschutes - only 90 minute drive from Bend. Will stay here on our next visit to Bend.

Room Tip: #10, you can hear the water feature through your open window at night.

If you have a big party and want to take over someplace fun, the Mill is a great option. We took over last weekend and leveraged the common room, the back deck and even the man cave (yes, I even slept down there for the peace and quiet). Easy access to downtown, the river and bars. Zane was an amazing host and the 27 mile mountain bike ride he directed was epic.

Room Tip: downstairs room is the best.

We rented out the entire Inn for biking excursions. Zane, the inn keeper, was our mtn bike guide on trails near Mt Bachelor, with beer and lunch waiting for us post-ride. Every bit of our four days in Bend at the Mill Inn was awesome. Great breakfast, cool hosts, can't go wrong.

I stayed at the Mill Inn for 4 nights on a recent visit to Bend. It is a lovely place and perfectly situated if you want to be close to downtown Bend. I stayed in the Wild River Suite which has its own entrance on the deck - a lovely place to sit early in the morning. The breakfast was lovely and I loved the individual entrance. I'll go back and highly recommend it. Great value for the budget as well.

Stayed 2 nights in Seattle Room, very nice, clean and the breakfast was excellent, so many choices. Loved the self check in and the keypad entry at the main entrance. Walking distance to downtown Bend and the owner was so nice. Lots of room for all guests to have breakfast at own tables and sound machines in the room was a nice added touch. Beds were comfy too..Would return again.

Room Tip: no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs stay on first floor, Seattle room is on the first fl...
