I (female) was traveling with my daughter and 4 yr old grandson and I was looking for a safe place to stay. I could not have felt safer and the staff took care of our every needs. It didn't matter how late we checked in. I had requested connecting rooms and they were better than the average "hotel" rooms. I would stay there again in a heart beat and even plan on a longer stay. It is in a natural tree filled setting with both an indoor and an outdoor pool.
I was wondering why the 3A only gave them 2 diamonds when I feel they should really have been given 3 diamonds. We also got a 3A discount but it isn't noted in the travel book by 3A. Shame on you, 3A... I almost didn't stay there because of that.

“Very pleasant, great customer service”

Excellent customer service at the front desk. Staff was friendly, courteous, generous. Room faced the river, so there was NO traffic noise at all, yet inn was minutes from main parkway. Lovely landscaping with tall pines made the inn feel like a mountain chalet.
Definitely a great place to stay--beats the competition!

“Gorgeous and peaceful”

What an outstanding property. The setting is gorgeous-- the back of the hotel literally backed up to the Deschutes! We awoke every morning to the sound of quacking ducks and chirping birds. The staff was attentive and we found the room (although nothing fancy) to be very large and comfortable... besides the jacuzzi tub made it all worth it!
