“Lunchtime Favorite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

I love going here for the lunchtime deals. Their salad tastes better than any salad I have tried anywhere, EVER! The lunch meals are reasonably priced and they serve them quickly. The garlic bread is heavenly and their meatball sandwiches are made with most delicious bread and meatballs. My family all have their favorite choices. We all enjoy eating there.

“Simple pleasures.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Fresh - simple - quality - food. The $7 lunch menu is Portland's best foodie bargain. The salads are ALL divine, pasta dishes likewise. Italian themed eateries MUST have good quality bread - Pastini does not fail.

“Good but not Italy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Just went last night for my daughter's birthday... register on-line and get a free dinner for the birthday person. Also, a $10 off on $25 or more discount made a $55 dinner for 4 only $35 something. Anyway, a nice dinner and good service. Some of the dishes have more hot than spice which covers up the shrimp but overall it was good. Some of the deserts are really quite good. Beer and wine selection is also OK. Give it a try, but if you find anything you do not like, let them know as they try to improve.

“Waste of time and money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

We've had the pleasure of visiting the Pastini's in the 23rd several times, but live in Hillsboro, so we were looking for a closer location. This location sucked. I'd drive an hour for the one off the 23rd any day over this place. It was over crowded and we had to wait 20 minutes to get a seat. Our service was SUPER slow. My pesto was watery, because I think the noodles were never drained. Both appetizers sat under the hear lamps too long. It was majorly disappointing. Not a location I'll ever visit again. If this had been our first Pastini experience, I can't say we'd have ever gone to another location. Take the extra time and go down town.

“Goodbye Macaroni Grill - Hello Pastina !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

Enjoyed a great dinner at the Beaverton location. Each of us ordered a different entree, and each one was excellent. They also have a couple of specialty drinks as part of an insert in the menu for $7.50 and I chose one of those. While the drink was very good, the alcohol content was largely missing. I would stick with wine the next time. My lasagna was just right in both portion size, temperature at serving and the amount of marinara sauce. Salads are large but not overly so. The portion sizes left us full but not "stuffed."

Wait staff was moving quickly and efficiently with a full house. Ours was constantly smiling as he took care of our table. He advised us he was taking a short break, and while he was gone another server "adopted us" to make sure any needs were met. Our server knew the items we ordered very well and could describe exactly what we would be served.

The kitchen area at this location is open to be seen by the entire dining area. Deserts are reasonably priced and portioned.

We had a booth and they are built with wooden bench style seats (with wooden back). These are not comfortable to sit in for very long. At dinner time with a full house, the noise level is quite high and you must speak loudly to be heard across the table.
