“Dunes are not on my list of things to see but, they were interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

It's amazing how these dunes have formed on the rocky shores of Oregon. They are different from other sand dunes, thus their uniqueness and individuality. Interesting to see.

“As good as it gets for seaside golf”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

One of the four Bandon Dunes courses. Always one of, if not the absolute, top rated. Amazing layout. Obviously on the ocean. Played it twice with big winds both times. Wide open as a links course should be. Need to hit it really bad to lose a ball, although gourse can be sometimes in play. Not the "American" way of golf as the winds are such a factor it becomes beneficial to play it along the ground. Would never think of putting from 10 yds off the green while home but it is often the preferred play at Pacific Dunes. Greens and green surrounds quite firm. Bunkers penal but fair. Caddies are a true value added. Bring Gortex rain suit as rains quite common. An absolute must play venue for the golf junkie.

“Tough Course but gorgeous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

It SHOULD be played. Truly beautiful. Don't miss it. Pricey but you just gotta play this course. No carts...NONE. Get a caddy.

“My favorite course”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

Its a bucket list course. Great par 3's, lots of wind. Good luck putting as it can be a bear to make pars and a given you will need 3 putts sometimes.

Great golf, great views and second only to Pebble Beach as the best course I have played in the United States!
