“Horrid nights sleep”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

We chose this hotel because we had our little dog with us, and they allowed pets. We got our room OK but it went down hill from there. We couldn't regulate the heat once we turned it on, it was either super hot or cold - no nice and warm. The beds were the worst I've ever experienced. The bed was so hard there was no way to get comfortable . . . yes we had a miserable night trying to find a spot that didn't ache. They advertised free Wifi, she said to just pick the one with the strongest signal . . . nothing ever came up. Even at $69/night plus $10 for the dog . . they need to do better than that, after all it is the off season and there aren't that many people to fill all the available rooms.

Room Tip: Check out the bed before you pay for the room.

We appreciate your comments. The wifi signal has been checked several times
and it is coming in as excellent strength so I am not sure why you had difficulty.
In the past we have ordered medium firm beds but may need to switch to soft
in the future. Unfortunately a ten dollar pet fee does not cover the clean up
costs for some of the "messes" left behind by the furry friends.

We stayed recently on a motorcycle trip down the coast. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and looked to be recently updated with fresh paint, flat scene TV and very clean. This is an older motel that has been updated nicely. The only draw back was the bed, which was very hard. If improvements continue that next step should be new beds. Walking distance, right across the highway, to the historic downtown.
We would stay again.

If you are on a road trip in southern Oregon this motel is by far the best we have stayed in. Reasonable cost , very clean , good facilities, just on edge of lovely town of Brandon. If we passed this way again would defo stay here.

We spend one night there last summer, but were ripped off by owner. She refused to accommodate us in single room, arguing that it is "too small" and made us pay for two room instead. I was too tired to argue back, but should have, since she was evidently lying in order to make more business. The rooms are spacious, but dark and expensive, no matter there is a poor breakfast included. You are going to find much better place to spend summer night at beautiful Oregon coast!
