Ricardo's has great decor, and the potential to be a real destination restaurant with both locals and travelers, alike. Our experience, though, was that the staff was aloof and disinterested, and the food was just so-so. The salsa was tasty, but the chips were cold, a bit greasy and stale. The food was OK, but had no "kick" and it's fairly expensive - $10-15 avg. per person.
You can get a decent meal, but nothing special.
