“Only chain food worth eating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2011 via mobile

Very swift, friendly, and efficient service. Chips are the best, light and thin and warm. Spinich/corn side is awesome but can't remember what it is actually called. Also, fish tacos were awesome.

“Always great food and good service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2011

We have been visiting this Abuelo's since 2008 and have always been impressed by their consistent food quality and good friendly service.

We have never received a bad meal. Service is general above average and the kitchen is always fast with food delivery.

My only complaint is sometimes sitting in the bar area can be a little loud from time to time but that is the nature of that area.

“Always Great Food & Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2011

If you want the best TexMex, this is the place. We have been eating at Abuelo's since 1996 and it is always consistent. Best salsa around.

“Favorite "Not cheap" Mexican places to go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2011

Our family has a sort of guideline for going out. "Cheap" "Not Cheap" and "Expensive". This place isn't "Cheap", but its not 13.99 per plate, either. The portions are pretty big. The food is great. :)

“One of my favs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2011 via mobile

When I come to town to visit #1 son, I make it a habit to visit Abuelo's. The service is absolutely first rate; friendly, well-paced, and accurate. The food bursts with the flavors of the south west and northern Mexico. And the drinks are smooth going down. I'm not a gourmet, just a guy who likes good food and company in a pleasant atmosphere.
