We were standing in the reception area of the restaurant, wondering where the hostess was, when a young woman with a scowl on her face, walked up and my husband said, "We're just waiting to be seated". We had no idea she was the hostess, mainly because she was sloppily dressed and scowling!! She never said a word, just grabbed two menus and walked away. My husband then said, "Should we follow you?" She turned and simply looked at us, like we were idiots!! She took us to a table that was right next to some other diners and since there was another empty table on the other side, he asked for us to please be seated there. Again, she just scowled at us and walked away!! We asked another young lady if we could be seated at this other table and she said, sure, but she wanted to wipe it down. Then, our waitress took our drink order, but in the middle of taking our order, she turned around to talk to someone walking by!! So, NOT impressed so far!! We opted for the salad and the pizza buffet. Salad was okay, if you don't mind lettuce with brown edges! The "buffet" only had a couple pizzas on it, so we took a few pieces and went back when I noticed they had put out two more pizzas!! So, NOT impressed with the "buffet", either, at this point. Pizza was okay; rather greasy, though. We will certainly NOT be going back to Marley's Pizzeria. I've been a restaurant hostess and I've also waited tables; I enjoyed both jobs. If you don't like people, why are you a hostess. Her general attitude was...don't care, don't care, really don't care!! Sad because she was our first impression of the place and it didn't improve. Skip this place and go to Hideaway Pizza instead!!
