“You get what you pay for”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

The room was not clean. There was dry vomit on the floor. There was dirt on the walls. There was a smell coming from the heater. The bed was extremely low to the ground. There wasn't a desk in my room so I had to use an end table. There was a poor internet connection.

It was the second time I've been here. I was there in August and my room was cleaner then.

We had two rooms, four adults and our 16 month old granddaughter. Asked for and was told we were in a non smoking rooms in what was suppose to be a totally non smoking hall - separate from the rest of the rooms. Both nights the hall was full of not only cigarette smoke but marijuana smoke. Also, continued loud shouting, doors slamming and drunks arguing. Contacted front desk and they said they would call their rooms and ask them to be quieter. Yet, they did not know which room it was. Recieved a call from Hotel Manager and she said that the video of the hall did not show anyone in front of our room. So she did not feel their was a problem. She refused to comment on the smoke and the marijuana. Stay away from this property, We booked via Hotwire. At least 4 other hotels within 3 blocks of this one. Leave this drug infested, terribly managed property to the addicts.

Room Tip: do not stay in any of their rooms

2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

First I would like to stay that the customer service we received the evening of December 21, 2013 was exemplary. We arrived in Tulsa in the middle of the ice storm and the staff was inundated with locals without power looking for a place to stay. Having driven through said ice storm for 12 hours we were exhausted and frazzled when we arrived. Our first room was frigid and had a second exterior door (too many horror movies mean that I don't sleep well in hotels with exterior doors). It was explained that the heat is turned off in the room when it was unoccupied and it would warm up but the staff gladly moved us to a room on the second floor. When we returned the keys to room #1 we mentioned that room #2 was over 80 degrees but we assumed that it would cool down as we had turned down the heat. As we were walking away we were called back and sent to room number three. We were told that the hotel was booked and the desk clerk didn't know what she would do when those poor guests arrived and all that was available was sauna room.

Room #3 was adequate. Every hotel without a flat screen TV routinely loses a star in my reviews. The remote only worked for on/off- as a family without cable that enjoys CNN and AMC when we travel it made channel surfing difficult. The staff gave us a new remote but we had the same problem.

Let's see - - we received extra shampoo and one extra pillow out of the kindness of the desk clerks heart only- at first she said none was available because they were booked- even though we had a nonsmoking room the halls smelled of smoke. The lack of elevator was not a factor, by the time we took showers their lack of functionality was merely a nuisance, but the coup de gras was the deplorable breakfast selection, which consisted of a waffle iron, a small cereal selection, and muffins.

If it wasn't for the customer service this place would receive one star. This stay was a road stop on the way to see family for the holidays. Needless to say we booked the Ramada on the way back home.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else . . . but if you must stay here and don't want a room with an exterior door...

Poor breakfast selection (not as advertised), dirty carpets throughout, strange odors ranging from mild to overwhelming. Great staff. Clean bathroom and sheets, bed was comfy. Ran down, old and tired hotel.
Our first room smelled lIke urine mixed with smoke (non-smoking room), we were moved to a different room, with was better but the ofor lingered when we went to bed.

I never take the time to write a review, but this hotel was soooo gross that I had to speak up! Carpets in hallways were all stained and worn out. Holes were punched in walls and they were spackled over. Door handle on a room was gone and the hole was covered with plywood. A woman was digging through an ashtray by the lobby for cigarrette butts. And ALL this before we even hit the door of our room! Our room was the last straw... nasty, unwashed bedspread that had an old, crusty, bloody booger stuck to it. The curtains were falling off the wall. The pillowcase had a big stain on it. That was it. Too much to tolerate. I told the front desk and asked for another room. We were told they were full, although the parking lot was nearly empty. So I called Hotwire. I had booked through Hotwire, as I have done many, many times, and so I knew the room was non-refundable, but I couldn't stay here. I explained the room to Hotwire and they immediately refunded the room. Many thanks to Hotwire! Great prices and amazing customer service! On our way out of the hotel, we walked down the stairs from the 2nd floor to the exit door. The door was so damaged that we couldn't force it open! Had there been a fire, it would have been a catastrophe for many guests as there was no other way out of that wing! We notified the front desk and then I notified the Tulsa Fire Department. Sorry for the long review, but people really need to know about this hotel...Disgusting and a fire trap!

This is an old motel that, by its architecture and design, looks to have been built in the late 1950s or early 1960s. The room walls were has those big plate glass windows and sliding doors in metal frames. There are multiple two-story buildings with interior hallways with the big windows that were hallmarks of the design of Holiday Inns and Howard Johnson’s from that era. So the good things were the interior hallways, the large rooms (I had a room with a king bed but they could have fit two king beds in the same room), and a lot of auxiliary furniture. The motel is easily accessible from I-44 but it is suffiently away from it so there is almost no road noise at all.

The best good thing was that the motel was inexpensive so I consider it a reasonable value for the money. But the room was not so great. The negatives were little irritations like the bathroom dropped ceiling that was water stained, the bathroom overhead light was a heat lamp light (and it was over ninety degrees outside and the room AC was on) that heat up the bathroom unnecessarily, and the sink basin was heavily stained. The shower had two shower heads, one for a child since it was 3’ high on the wall, and an adult shower head. But no amount of manipulation on my part could get the upper shower head to work at all (they need instructions or they need to fix it) so my shower was on my knees.

Had the hardest time finding a clean room in tulsa. Was shocked at how clean the rooms where. I still went over it though being the clean person that i am and still amazed. The front desk was very pleasant they might be a little busy though multi tasking can be annoying . The carpet leading to the rooms was a little rough but nothing a rugdoctor can't fix don't let that be focus point. I got that same room with the*Jacuzzi it was very clean. I loved the view of the wall. I don't know what that other person was thinking. And they do allow pets. Thanks for the great stay.
