“The best zoo fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Tulsa Zoo is the stopping place for us everytime my granddaughter visits. It gets better every year! Summertime is hot and there were a lot of exhibits under construction this year but the fall and spring days are perfect for a visit. We usually take the train one way and either walk back or make our way from gate to the far station as it can get to be a hike. We usually bring our own snacks but food and drink are available. The new sea lion exhibit and the penguins are a favorite but there are so many exhibits that we enjoy - the children's petting zoo, meerkats, the "jungle", giraffe exhibit.....

“Trip to the zoo”

This is a really nice zoo for any size town. Really clean, the animals are well taken care of and displayed in natural surroundings. Great value and wonderful family attraction.

“Wouldve been better if exhibits were open”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012 via mobile

Decided to go and check out the zoo. It had been years since I had been there and the opening of the new sea lion exhibit gave good reason to go back. For the most part this zoo is ok. The problem I had was that the desert, arctic .... pretty much all of the specialized inside exhibits were closed for renovation (no notification about this before you paid your entry to the zoo which was still full price).

The new sea lion exhibit was pretty cool, especially the underwater viewing area. They took some time with this and it shows.

The rest was just your typical zoo attractions, nothing really stood out more than the next.

Its ok for a small zoo. Im sure it wouldve been much better with ALL of the attractions open.
