We went on a family trip, and stopped in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Days Inn and Conference Center and got a room for the night. The outside and lobby looked okay, but when we got off of the elevator on the 3rd floor it was like walking into a sauna. It was about 95degrees outside, but it was about 110degrees in the hallway. I was hoping that at least our room would be cool, but it was even hotter in there and it was stinky and nasty. I called the front desk, and asked them if there was a cooler room that we could get but he said just turn on the air and it would cool off. We turned the air on and left for a couple hours hoping that it would be cooler when we got back, but it was still over 100 degrees in our room. We took cold showers hoping that would help, but it didn't help at all. We took our towels and wet them down with cold water and put them in the mini fridge to try and wore them around us trying to cool off and we had to do that every 15 minutes. I wet down my shirt and slept in a wet shirt. It finally cooled off around 5:00 in the morning and we checked out at 7:00. I told the guy at the front desk who looked like he ate a grenade about our horrible night and all he said was "If it was that bad you should've left", but we already paid and they wouldn't give us a refund and we couldn't afford to get another room. We asked for a trash bag and he said it would cost us .50cents and when we asked for more towels they wouldn't give us any. It was the worst hotel stay ever.
