“mother daughter outing”

The horror of WWII is brought to life when you see the photos and other items on display. It is sad what men will do to other men/women.

“Great value for the money.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2011

Don't let the name fool you - there's more to see here than Jewish art. I was surprised to find this museum in Tulsa. It was a rich and detailed experience with much to appreciate, especially if you are Jewish or have some knowledge of Judaism. I recommend it as it is a good value for the price of admission, which was $6.50 at the time of my visit.

“Very nice & educational”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2011

We spent a lovely morning in this museum. We went to see the wedding customs exhibit, which showcased typical wedding gowns of ethnic groups now living in Oklahoma. It was really interesting - a very novel exhibit. The rest of the museum was also worthwhile. The Jewish religious artifacts were especially interesting (to this non-Jewish girl unfamiliar with them). We probably spent 2 - 3 hours there, a perfect outing, I think. There's still time to do other things and you are not exhausted when you leave.

“Impressive for its location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2008

I was surprised to find such a museum in a city like Tulsa, which is not known for having a large Jewish population. The museum had a permanent exhibit about the Holocaust as well as exhibits about Jewish rituals, holidays, and Jews in different countries throughout the world. There were also special exhibits.
