“A Glimpse into a Bygone Era”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013 via mobile

The grounds and museum of this lovely place are not to be missed. Because this was originally built as a mansion for a wealthy family, it's great to see the architecture of the original mansion and grounds worthy of a French chateau.

The art collection is wonderful and makes for a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

“What a Spectacular Way To See Art!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

I cannot say enough good things about this museum. The home itself is a work of art, but because it is a home, having the chance to walk in and out of rooms, down corridors and up/down staircases, offers a truly intimate art experience. Although there were others in the museum, because of the palatial grandeur of the home, I rarely saw anyone. Unlike other museums where you are literally on top of another person trying to get a closer view, this museum offers visitors a chance to fully appreciate the art by presenting them in a way that is accessible, well-lit and well-organized by theme. Once you are finished with the exhibits inside, you must explore the gardens. They are absolutely gorgeous! This is a must-see attraction in Tulsa! And if you are there on a Sunday, I highly recommend the brunch!

“A must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a must see place during any visit to Tulsa. The home of a former OIL tycoon. Just beautiful. My last visit was to attend a garden wedding.

“Lovely in Spring”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

The gardens are amazing. The art is a great variety of pieces from all different eras. April is a great month because it does not seem so busy.

“Philbrook's Gardens are Transporting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

The collections are always nice, but the gardens are worth the visit. This is my second trip to the Museum, an whenever I am in Tulsa, I try to include a stop at the Philbrook.
