Location works great for us as we travel between Houston and KC. We've stopped here several times in the past but were disappointed this time. The beds are in need of replacement, just not comfortable. Our biggest complaint is the constant running of Fox News in the breakfast are. Even after a guest changed the channel to a local news/weather report the breakfast hostess changed it back to Fox News. Not sure if it is a corporate decision or an employee's preference but it's enough to cause us to stay elsewhere next trip.

I would like to apologize for your issues at the Holiday Inn Express in Pryor OK.

Will check into the mattress, they are less than 4 years old and they are rotated every 3 months and we have not had any other complaints.

As for Fox news I can discuss with the breakfast hostess and we can make sure to let guests decide what channel to watch. Thanks for the information.

Hope you will continue to give us a chance.

The front desk staff were great. Very helpful and a kinda attitude. They took are of the problem when a child was running down the halls, yelling, AND a dog was whining at 11:30pm. The room was clean and had adequate supplies. The hot tub was brIoken, the bathtub very slow to drain, the luggage cart tires were deflated, the advertised massage chair was missing and the pancake machine was not working. It seems like some work needs to be done to get this hotel up to the standards or better. I also did not really appreciate the attitude of the breakfast man.

I am very sorry about the condition of the property. The massage chair was taken away due to being broken and they are trying to get it fixed.

The luggage cart has been fixed several times and now waiting on new wheels to arrive to replace the bad tires.

The pancake machine is waiting on parts to be delivered.

Where we are in a rural area there is not any where to take our products to and have fixed so have to depend on ordering and shipping of parts. We are working on getting everything back in working condition around here.

Hope you will give us another try.

Nice size room. Quite. However, the floors in my room had not been cleaned or vacuumed. Sticky stuff on tiles by bathroom. Bedding seemed to be clean. Sink in bathroom NOT clean. Got ready to make coffee in the morning - old coffee still in pot. Told front desk when I checked out how dirty the room was and she said they were short handed. If they can't clean the rooms, they shouldn't use them. I will never stay at this Holiday Inn again. I'm a Priority Member and this is the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in!!!

I loved the rooms and the pool area was nice. Breakfast was very good. The day clerk was a very nice girl. Very friendly and helpful. The night clerk did nothing but sit around and play on what I think was a kindle and her phone. I went to the desk many times and always had to wait on her to realize I was there. Overall though it was a very nice stay and I'll be back again.

We stayed here two separate times during a two week period. The most important feature, the beds were actually comfortable! The hotel is a nice business class hotel that is an upgrade from your usual Holiday Inn type. Granite countertops, nice meeting areas in the breakfast room. It's geared towards business traveleres. Rooms are nice, comfortable, large. Mini-fridge in room. First time we stayed the Desk Clerk was so friendly and accomodating. She greeted us as priority customers, had our reservation and keys all ready to go, and even gave us a little complementary bag with some snacks. She treated us like humans and was so pleasant. She is the reason we chose to stay again. The second time we stayed both the desk clerks were a bit on the rude side and very short. Didn't even bother to look at us as we were checking in or to greet us as priority customers. They were too busy holding their own private little conversaton. Not impressed with them. They need some serious "Hardwing for Excellence" education and customer service training. We had booked a king suite and a double queen suite for our second stay. They did call and let us know that the king suites were not available, although the excuse was very poor as we were told that none of the king suite rooms were clean. This was about 10 pm at night, so unless all the housekeeping staff quit, there is absolutely no excuse for those rooms to not be clean. Both times the indoor pool was out of order, which was a disappointment to our children. We would probably stay here again, but only because the beds were very comfortable and when you travel alot it's a crap shoot on whether you will find a decent bed or not.

Room Tip: The rooms do not have proper drapes, so if you have difficulty sleeping with light in the room, then...

Just wanted to advise that there are room darkening blinds behind the sheers that can be pulled across the windows to darken the room and give privacy.

Will take a look at how we can close the sheers and the room darkening blinds so every guests know they are there.

Thanks for letting us know about this issue and we are sorry that you had to hang a sheet over your window.

Our preference for hotels is ALWAYS the HIG brand, either Holiday Inn, HI Express or Candlewood Suites, and this location still smells as new as the brand.

It's been open 2 1/2 years, but as soon as we stepped into our room, we though - did they JUST open their doors? Its SUPER convenient to any of the big companies in the Mid American Industrial Park, where we had a project for a couple days.

Hot breakfast (minus the pancake machine which broke down during our stay), indoor spa & pool and a nice outdoor patio with BBQ grill for nice weather.

BONUS - check out the red massaging chair in the exercise room. Head to toe kneading & massage is better than any chair in the nail salons! Almost as good as a personal maseuse (sp?).

LARGE desk are with wired +/or wireless connection. Beautiful granite shelves in the bathroom.

We agree with other reviewers - is is THE BEST hotel in Pryor, and it's right next door to a Comfort Inn!

Room Tip: Our 3rd floor room was on the east side of the building, but am sure even the road-side rooms are qu...

As a business traveler, I stay at many motels/hotels through out Arkansas, Lousiana, and Oklahoma. This is one of the nicest HIEx I have stayed at. Clean, comfortable, and helpful staff. I would recommend this motel.
