“Worst treatment after a problem ever”

Anybody can have a problem. How you deal with it shows what kind of company you are. We are platinum members with Marriott. Rarely have a problem, but if there is one, it gets handled immediately. UNTIL NOW! Stayed here Nov 23. No heat in our room. Someone came in to fix. Out to check something. Back again. Said it would get better. Never did. Got extra blankets & comforters. At checkout next morning, told the desk lady our problem. She apologized & offered 20,000 points (enough for a free night). I thanked her & said ok. It's now Jan 2, NO points. NO explanation. Just runaround. Talked to hotel twice, Marriott Rewards 4 times, including a supervisor twice. Still runaround! Have stayed here several times before. 4 Diamond. Great place unless you have a problem. Will never go back!

After reading the previous reviews I almost cancelled our reservation. But the friends with whom we were visiting in OC spoke highly of the Waterford so, we honored our reservation. We were not disappointed. The hotel setting is most appealing being dignified and comfortable. It's not Hard Rock! The pubic areas were pristine. Our rooms were as advertised, crisp, clean and inviting. The bartender was jovial and entertaining. The bedding was comfortable and I and my wife slept very well. The breakfast buffet was fresh. The omelet preparer regularly supplied the scrambled egg hot plate on the buffet so the scrambled eggs were not rubbery. The morning Starbucks in the lobby was endless and the checkout was seamless. The staff we met were cheery and seemed genuine in wanting our stay to be comfortable. What more could you want?

You will not find a hotel with better customer service! They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best. Yes, it could use a renovation but it is still a very nice hotel. I was there for 4 months and if I am back in the area, this is where I'll stay.

The public areas are very nice as is the staff. However, the bedrooms and baths are really dated and need a major renovation. The baths are not environmentally friendly- the toilets use too much water. My back still hurts from the lumpy mattress.

Room Tip: There are no good rooms.

Live in OKC and have been recommending this hotel to friends for years. At this point, I find the place an embarrassment. It is very much in need of renovation. Just had lunch with fiends for San Francisco who are staying there for the last time - elevators are not working and they had to walk down seven flights of stairs (those same elevators were not working properly for a class reunion last year). This is no longer my go-to place for friends or relatives. Have a hard time believing the Marriott has not taken notice!

Room Tip: Run - don't walk - to any number of better hotels in the area.

This hotel is off the beaten path of typical hotel row. It is nestled in a quaint business complex that has an "old money" feel to it. The staff is attentive & very knowledgeable about the area. Many nice restaurants close by, as well as shopping. The rooms are clean, quiet, and very spacious. Comfortable beds and round the clock coffee make the Waterford Marriott a definite favorite.

came to visit friends and chose to stay here. as always the staff was very friendly. but its been a bit since my last visit so i had a chance to look around. the hotel is beginning to really ware. the rooms are very bland. not to say every room should dazzle. but you want some changes. the bathrooms are very dated and need renovation. the carpets and the area seem nice but again are worn. i do have to say one thing......they have the nicest beds.

i would stay here again but i would appreciate some changes. there are a lot of hotels in the area so i would around. this at least in my opinion is a good hotel.

would i recommend it...sure. would i go out of my way to stay here.....no.
