“Beautiful dancers, costumes and art”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

Although a bit on the touristy side, the comfort of indoor seating is nice and the dancing is superb. I prefer an authentic pow-wow that is outdoors in out-of-the way places.

The Red Earth Fesival is great, they have several exhibits and several dances that they do. Great to watch and learn about our indian heritage.

“Cannot miss this!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2012

You really shouldn't spend a year in Oklahoma without saturating yourself in the Red Earth Festival. Oklahoma, many know, stands for "Home of the Red Man." But alas, there aren't many venues and events in either of the two big towns (Tulsa and Oklahoma City) that have attraction showcasing live Native American Indian events. Red Earth is one of the best. Come visit and see the live dances, the artwork and learn about the history of these noble original Americans. If you're visiting Oklahoma City during the festival, make it a point to have lunch or a snack at the venue and drink in the culture. You will not regret it!
