“Amazing food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

Finally got the chance to eat here and it did not disappoint. Food was excellent from the wedge salad, rib-eye and the O2(?) cocktails. Better than any food i have had anywhere, including Vegas. Service was a little slow and unattentive but I had the feeling we had a greener waiter, everyone elses service around us looked spot on. Can't wait to go back!

“Try Juan's Queso Chihuahua”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

My girlfriend and I visited Cheever's on a Friday night at 8:30 PM. The place was bustling but didn't seem overly packed mostly due to the arrangement of the tables. They also have a patio that is shaded and surrounded by foilage. It seemed like it would be a nice setting for a Sunday brunch. We started the night with C2 cocktails. The C2 cocktail is a concoction with vodka and cilantro syrup that turns out a crazy bright green color. The bartender did not skimp on the vodka and we were pleased with the quality. For an appetizer we had Juan's Queso Chihuahua. It was delicious and I highly recommend it. It is a very thick cheese dip topped with pico de gallo, 1/2 an avocado, and a green chile salsa. Definitely more than enough for two for an appetizer. You also get rolls and they too were soft and tasty. The smell of the bread was incredible. As our main course we had the grilled vegetable stack and the tequila lime shrimp linguine. Both dishes were very good and once again the portions were very large. We didn't sample dessert but the desserts all the tables around us were enjoying looked fantastic and very decadent. Overall I would say Cheever's is a place I will definitely visit again. Some people come here for the ambience and to be seen but I will be back for the food.

“Worth the stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

We stumbled onto this place while looking for a place for a quick lunch and made sure to go back the next time we were on town. Oh, my, well worth the stop. The menu is manageable and everything is fresh with deep flavors. Just a hint - a touch of garlic is used in many of the dishes so if you have an after lunch meeting and are sensitive to garlic, make sure you ask about it.

(And the biscuits are to die for.)

“Great chicken fried steak and salmon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

We have been to Cheever's about five times now in spite of the fact it is not convenient for us to get there. We go when we are hungry for chicken fried steak because it is excellent. All the items on their menu that we have tried are very good, and it is fun to go there as a change of pace. Oklahomans know chicken fried steak and everyone who has ever had it at Cheever's will probably agree that it is excellent. I had the salmon with spinach and asparagus tonight and it was delicious. My wife especially likes Cheever's. Try it.

“Go for the Quinoa Avocado Salad!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

We went for lunch and everything we ordered was very good. However, the quinoa avocado salad was simply divine! Here are the ingredients: avocado with chile-lime corn, pico de gallo, red quinoa, goat cheese and toasted almonds tossed in a garlic vinaigrette. Avocado never had it so good! It rates as one of those creative dishes you won't see anywhere else, but if you did, you'd always order it.
