We were looking for a restaurant that gave us a true feel for Oklahoma and were not disappointed. We loved the history and location that went with this steakhouse. Located in downtown Stockyard City, this casual restaurant has been serving food for over 100 years. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly staff and given a pager and told we could wait upstairs in a large comfortable room while enjoy a beverage. We found a place to sit and shortly after we're paged that our table was ready. My husband ordered the T-bone steak and was very pleased. It had lots of flavor and was very tender. I ordered the small filet. It was absolutely so tender it could be cut with a butter knife. The salads were a bit disappointing. They were basically just a bowl of iceberg lettuce and nothing to write home about. The baked potato was hot and fresh. The homemade rolls were okay. We enjoyed a nice piece of coconut pie for dessert. The next morning we decided to come back for breakfast too. We both had their corned beef hash special. Everything was hot and fresh. If you want a wonderful steak, come check them out!
