“Treated Royally”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

It was an overnight wedding anniversary get-away. Room was very nice...beautiful nighttime view of the city. In-room treats were a nice touch. They truly made our anniversary celebration special. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Overall: Very accessible and easy to get to. Clean, nice hotel.
Check In: Curteous staff. Easy check in.
Room: Nice clean room. Nothing fancy but definately clean and orderly

Attached to convention center which made for a nice walk to my business meeting. I thought about staying elsewhere, but glad I chose the Renaissance since it's attached to the convention center.

Room Tip: Request a higher floor for nice city views

Truly enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance. As a Marriott Club member, we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival at no additional cost! There is a hotel shuttle to Bricktown which is very convenient to use. They dropped us off where we wanted to go and provided us a number to call when we were ready to return. Return pickup was surprisingly fast! Parking.... In and out parking is available for $10 a night at the Marriott nearby (3 blocks) but I would suggest you use the $5 parking garage adjacent to the hotel especially if you do not plan to leave at night. Not only is it less expensive but it is accessible by an overhead walkway and is much closer.

The staff at the hotel were very courteous and I had a 1-bedroom suite, which was very nice.

One morning after returning from a 10k run, as I entered the lobby a person at the bell desk offered me a bottle of water. Nice touch that showed a focus on hotel visitors.

The convention centre was another thing altogether. The service was awful and the food was not much better. This opinion was widely shared.

The facility itself is very nice and technically everything worked well at the event.

Lots of construction going on in OKC these days.

Don't overlook visiting the memorial (picture attached), which is not far from the hotel. Very touching.

While we are thrilled by your lovely remarks regarding your accommodations and our hotel staff, we truly regret your experience with the service at the convention center. The OKC National Memorial you mentioned is just steps away from our front door and we also recommend visitors to our city take the time for a visit to the touching tribute to those whose lives were changed forever by the events of April 19, 1995. We would just like to mention that the construction in OKC has now been completed making getting around the city easier for everyone. We hope that you will return again soon as it would be our pleasure to welcome you back.

Yes, parking is an issue. And the construction that was going on in OKC (sept 2012) created havoc on the GPS so getting around was crazy. Thankfully it is in walking distance of Bricktown and many nice restaurants (including the melting Pot <3).

The Hotel is super nice with the indoor pool and spa. But no free WiFi in the rooms. I don't enjoy getting into my Jammie's and then having to go down to the lobby to get wifi. For the price of the rooms, there should be wifi in them.

The Renaissance Oklahoma City Convention Center Hotel is just steps from the Bricktown Entertainment District where our guests can enjoy its dining, shopping and a multitude of entertainment options. Although we regret your disappointment about the fee for Wi-Fi in the room; we're delighted you liked our pool and spa at the hotel. We hope you will return for another visit soon as it would be our pleasure to welcome you back.

My daughter and I stayed here for a fun weekend. While this was a clean and decent hotel, there is no convenient place to self park. Upon arrival we were told by a valet supervisor to self park in the Courtyard Marriott parking lot which is at least a 1/4 mile walk from this hotel. This is fine if you are in shape and it isn't raining outside. Otherwise be prepared to pay 25.00 per vehicle per nigh plus tip to valet park. We had 2 cars so this was not an option for us. We wanted to be close to Bricktown and this hotel was a very easy walk to that location. The beds were comfortable and the hotel overall was clean. Based on the parking, I would not stay here again. Also worth noting, none of the hotel staff really could confirm about the self parking location. Everytime I asked an employee of the hotel about the self parking location, I was told that they were not sure. I wanted to verify that the Courtyard garage was in fact where we were to park so our vehicles were not towed since we were not given any ticket to display in our vehicle. Just thought it odd that no one really knew for sure where guests were supose to self park.

Ok so, I was here for a conference. The rooms are phenomenal, but the hotel is old and they have the audacity to CHARGE for valet parking ($30/day) as if this is a DC hotel!! Really?? The staff was very friendly though and the beds, linen, were phenomenal. Unfortunately, it's an aged hotel and it shows! The decor sucked and they really seem stuck in the 90s. Bummer! My room door was interesting...would only close if you slammed it like the hulk!! I'm a girl...a girly-girl at that, so I was not happy!
