“Excellent museum - lots to see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2014

This is one of those museums in which one could spend all day. We did spend about 3 hours on a cold, rainy day. But there is only so much information I could absorb. My favorite part was the old replica town; I think they call it Prosperity Junction. It is like walking through an old western town at night when everything is still open. I also enjoyed the tribute to Western cinema and television shows which was extensive. They have lots of Remington sculptures and paintings and so much more. This is a must see for tourists visiting Oklahoma City.

“Cowboys and art--what a combination!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

This awesome building is a great starting place to learn about cowboys and the west. We were only there 2 1/2 hours, but our thoroughly delightful guide brought the western heritage to life. Paintings, weapons, saddles, movie and tv stars, native American history...if its western you can find it here! To fully enjoy the experience, allow at least 3 hours and don't rush. The best western art in all forms from sculpture to a mesmerizing painting of a cowboy with his gun pointed at YOU, wherever you stand in the room!
There is a cafe where you can rest and refresh during your visit. There is a gift store. I absolutely loved visiting here and hope to return.

“A wonderful place to enjoy history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

The entrance was breath taking, just the overwhelming details to each and every display was great. We were there for my husband's Grandfather induction in to the Cowboy Hall of Fame and it was a first class event
