“Perfect weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2009

Great stay for the price. Everyone was very nice and the food was great. The decor of the room was great and we loved having the fireplace in our room. This is our second visit and we will be back again.

Decided to stay at the Montford Inn on a business trip as an alternative to a traditional hotel in downtown OKC. The room and the commons areas at the Inn were very charming. 24-hour coffee/tea service in the living room was a nice touch. Breakfast was very enjoyable and in a nice comfortable setting. The dining room had a large table, as well as tables for two for privacy. The only anoyance is an occasional train that can be heard in the distance. I would definately return!

We stayed in the Willow Wood cottage in 1998 on our wedding night & loved every second of it. This past weekend we returned for our 10th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. It is so clean and well taken care of. I love the surrounding gardens and watching the squirrels play. We also had an awesome breakfast delivered to our room that looked and tasted like it was from a 5 star restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and made you feel welcome. I told my husband that I believe the Montford Inn is one of the best kept secrets in Oklahoma. We will visit again. Thank you Montford Inn for making our wedding night and 10th anniversary special!

Aesthetically pleasing, with comfortable beds and furnishings, and very clean, plus breakfast was delicious--a tasty, well seasoned casserole with a nice mix of fresh fruit, coffee cake, and a great smoothie (orange-mango?). Easy-to-find location in a quiet corner a couple of blocks from downtown Norman near the public library and city park.

After five visits to the Montford Inn, I continue to be impressed with the accomodations, friendliness of the staff and the quality of the breakfast. As a business-traveler we get sucked into the cookie-cutter chains with less-than-fulfilling continentail mush. Think outside the box next time you are in OKC/Norman and you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I stay at the Montford several times a year. We enjoy seeing the Murrays again (B&B proprietors), find the rooms comfortable and clean, and the staff is always very pleasant and efficient as well. The breakfasts are a treat, and we view the whole experience as a present to ourselves.
