“good barbeque”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Rudy's has good, simple barbeque. I've had the half chicken, turkey, and prime rib, (which they serve on weekends), and all have been very good. The service is fast and friendly. If you are in the area give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

“Tasty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

We have seen this place with a long line, but in the middle of a Sunday afternoon we could step right up to the counter and order. In fact, the guy with the big carving knife asked what meat we wanted even before we ordered so he could start cutting. The service is very fast as we had our food by the time we finished paying out. We shared a brisket sandwich and a huge stuffed baked potato with pulled pork. Both were very good. They also have a relish bar with pickled peppers, jalapenos, sliced carrots, and pickles that I think really add to a sandwich.

“Consistently good. Average atmosphere. Not a chain”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

The barbecue is good. The location is an old pizza place. Prices are good. It is nothing super special, but a consistently good meal.

“Sub Par Food at Expensive Prices”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

This is like a gas station restaurant. A few BBQ places weigh the ribs to see what to charge you. Rudy's weighs everything. A BBQ sandwich? They weight it. You can never stay within a budget. The sides are like a bad hospital cafeteria. My okra was cold and not crispy at all, and the potato salad was better suited to hold adobe bricks together. A high school cafeteria has more comfortable and attractive seating. Norman has some other BBQ places that are great, and a couple that are okay. Rudy's is at the very bottom of the list. I think that those people who like Rudy's BBQ are either employees, owners, or people who also think McDonald's serves fantastic hamburgers.
