“Average Tex Mex”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Our daughter is an OU student and loves this place. We came to town on her Birthday and took her and her friends to Ted's for dinner. I had made a cookie cake and they were nice enough to keep it in the back until we needed it. The best part about this place is all the chips and sauces they bring out when you get there. Never had so much given to you in free stuff which is why the college kids like it so much. We had their "famous" fajitas. The meat wasn't that good and I can say it was okay, but we have had much better. Our waitress had zero personality, but when they came out to sing Happy BIrthday they put a big Mexican hat on my daughter and did a great job singing to her. She loved it. They also gave out free sopaphia's. Overall my daughter still loves it, but my husband and I don't care if we go back.

“Average Tex Mex”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

Typical chain restaurant. Service is fast because they want to "turn" your table for the next guest. Loud and rushed atmosphere. Nothing special on the menu no real standout signature entrees. Good but not great TexMex. Try a local mom and pop restaurant for the real deal.

“The food makes up for being cold by also being bland!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012 via mobile

Lots of hype that the food consistently fails to live up to.
Everyone says lets go to Teds. Why bother? If i go out i want a memorable meal. Not bland cold food.

“Gringo style Tex-Mex”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

It's telling that none of the employees in the "front of the house," except busboys, are Mexican. The college boys and girls who wait on you have almost no experience with Mexican food other than their late night trips to Taco Bell. The food here is a joke. It's very popular with the Norman west-side crowd, who probably can't tell a tamale from a taco. The food is delivered warm, not hot, and the salsa is like picante sauce.
